As most of you know, I do a lot of recycling in the salon- greetings cards, newspapers, shredding, egg boxes and the co-op scrunchie plastics.
As there has been a couple of fires at the recycling depot caused by fires possibly the little household batteries or maybe other types of batteries, can I please remind people that I also collect your small batteries (and small lightbulbs) to dispose of in the correct manner. so please don’t just throw a battery in your bin it is dangerous and wrong. Thank you. ♥️Xx

I went on the Caddington Care monthly walk this morning, but I also did a litter pick along the way. Thanks to Town & Country and the parish Council for supplying a high viz jacket, rubbish bag, hoop and litter picker. Was a beautiful day which made it even better.☀️. The Litter Pick scheme in Caddington is on for the whole month of March so all you need to do is pop into Town & Country and pick up these bits and pieces and enjoy a walk on a sunny day while making the village look nicer by picking up rubbish. Xx

I have replaced my salon doormat and this old one is about to go to the tip, unless anybody might have a use for it?  It’s ready for collection any time. Xx

For those of you who still have a daily or weekly newspaper, would you consider instead of putting them into your recycle to drop them into the salon and we can get them to Appledown rescue kennels? Another easy way of recycling something instead of it going to the recycling plant. Thank you. Xx

Just had a lovely spa day at Horwood house Hotel and spa. A belated Christmas treat for us all. Xx

Thank you everyone who helped raise this money for Keech hospice care. The £400 was for the sale of my home-made Christmas cards. Please keep dropping off your old Christmas card fronts and any greetings card fronts that I can use as well. And please pop in through the year to look at my selection of greetings cards that I sell also.

Some of you will remember that in lockdown my husband bought me painting by numbers constantly to keep me busy, productive and sane!
Well, he bought me seven more for Christmas. This is the first one completed, which reminds us of our beautiful Georgie who we had to have put down last year at the age of 17. This one just took three days. Some of the other others will take a little longer. Happy New Year to you all. And hope you all have fun and productive hobbies to do in your life. Peace and love. Xx
