International Women’s Day 2026

International Women’s Day feels like the perfect moment to celebrate the incredible women that make up our little salon.

Every one of these girls brings something different talent, kindness, humour, hard work, and a genuine love for what they do.

Watching them grow in confidence, support each other, and build relationships with our clients is something I’m so proud of.

What started as just a workplace has become a space full of strong women lifting each other up every day a family more than a team.

And to our amazing clients so many of you have been with us for years, through life changes, big moments, and everything in between. Some of you have truly become friends, and we’re so grateful for every single one of you.

And a huge thank you to all of the students who take that leap of faith to train with me. Investing in yourself, learning a new skill and stepping into this industry takes courage, and I never take for granted the trust you place in me to be part of that journey.

Hi, I’m Danielle the face behind The Nail Room Salon & Academy in Lytham

It’s been a while since I properly introduced myself, and with so many new faces here, it feels like the right time 🤍

I’m the owner, nail technician, and educator behind this space. With 19 years behind the nail desk, what started as a passion for beautiful nails has grown into a salon with an amazing team of girls and an academy built on high standards, correct education, and doing things the right way, not the rushed way.

Over my 19 years in the industry, I’ve learned a lot along the way, including making plenty of mistakes. Those lessons are exactly what shaped how I work and how I teach today.

My goal is to guide my students so they don’t have to make the same mistakes, and instead build strong, confident, sustainable careers from the start.

In the salon, my focus is healthy nails, luxury treatments, and client care that never cuts corners, with relationships that go far beyond the appointment.

In the academy, I train nail techs with real knowledge, not just how to apply product, but why we do what we do. From health & safety and nail anatomy, to confidence, professionalism, and building long-term careers.

Whether you’re here as a client, a student, or a fellow nail tech, I’m really glad you’re here. This space is built on trust, education, and pride in our work.
