One year ago, my lovely client walked through the door as a prolific nail biter. Her natural nails were no longer than around 5mm and what growth she did have grew in a "ski slope" shape. Fast forward 12 months, and just look at the difference! 💅✨

With lots of love, TLC, perseverance, and regular appointments, we have completely transformed her natural nails. The first picture shows an incredible 4 weeks of retention! Now, I don't recommend leaving your nails this long between appointments as the structure and integrity of the natural nail can become compromised, but it certainly shows how far her nail journey has come.

Today we removed the builder gel, took away a looooot of length, and finished with a gorgeous bright summer gel polish set. ☀️🌸
We had a good laugh because never in a million years did either of us think we'd be saying, "Right, we need to take some length off!" 😂

In fact, just watching me cut them gave her the ick, so I think it's safe to say there's absolutely no chance of nail biting making a comeback! 🤣

I am so proud of how far she has come. This is proof that nail biting doesn't have to be forever, and with the right care and commitment, amazing things can happen. 💖
