I still get goosebumps watching this. ❤️
The moment my 15-year-old daughter pulled a world record deadlift at the British Powerlifting Championships.
To see years of hard work, discipline, resilience and determination come together in one lift is something I’ll never forget.
She does all of this while also managing Type 1 diabetes every single day, making this achievement even more special.

🏋️♀️ British Championships Weekend 🤍 Proud Mum Moment
This weekend my daughter is back on the platform competing at the British Powerlifting Championships 💪
From her first time stepping onto a platform to standing on the British stage again… what a journey it has been 🤍
Behind every lift there is so much people don’t always see…
The early mornings on competition days.
The after-school training.
The commitment.
The nerves.
The discipline.
Managing diabetes alongside it all — and still showing up.
Powerlifting has given her so much more than strength.
It has built confidence, resilience and belief in herself 🤍
A massive thank you to her coach — the support, encouragement and belief you give her means everything 🙌
One of the things I love most about this sport is the community.
Everyone cheering.
Everyone supporting.
Everyone wanting each other to succeed.
Strong isn’t just about what’s on the bar…
It’s the mindset, determination and the people standing behind you 💪
Today is another step in her journey, with her eyes set on competing at the World Championships in September 🌍💪
So excited for today… time to watch her do what she loves.

🤎 Swapping the treatment room for proud mum mode this weekend…
This weekend my daughter is back on the platform competing at the British Championships 🏋️♀️💪
At only 15 years old, and competing since she was 13, this will be her second British Championships 🤍
Watching her commitment, confidence and determination grow has been amazing.
One thing this journey has shown me is how important support really is.
Someone cheering you on.
Someone believing in you.
Someone being there through the nerves and the big moments 🤎
And that’s something I bring into Unknot & Unwind every day…
Creating a calm space where women can feel supported, heard and cared for.
