Well this is the last hour of my twenties. Damn.

Just washed my hair and I’m sat in bed in my Snuggie reflecting on..well.. my entire life.. 😂 I’ve Definitely spent the last week of my twenties in the best way possible here in California and il be getting my 30s off to a roaring start with a trip to vegas tomorrow (!!!) but damnnn I can’t hide from the existential dread coming along with it as well as the constant worries about being successful in future and making my family proud. I’m also sad for the ones I’ve had to leave behind because they aren’t on the same journey as me, to everyone I’ve wronged I’m sorry, and to those who have wronged me, I forgive (almost) all of you. But all that being said Ive been doing my best especially over the last few months to get back on track and do my best to put myself back where I want to be. When I get home il be starting an SIA course to get my badge and with that better job prospects for next summer. I have a better understanding of my limitations and my strengths and therefore am in a better position to not continue to set myself up to fail and not to do things I know will mess with my mental health just to please others. Im placing more importance on making myself proud instead. Part of that involves becoming more aware of what I should and shouldn’t be putting into my body and doing my best to make changes bit by bit. I’ve been facing a lot of fears over the last few months too and getting things I wanted to do before I’m 30 done, and that will also be continuing. I’m also seriously considering changing my name but more on that to come..

Basically I know what I want out of life and the next step is continuing to say no to anything that isn’t that.

I’m blessed by the family I have, and in addition to that my beautiful friends and my Ryan are the family I chose and I wouldn’t be where I am now without all the influences big and small that you’ve all had on my life, bit by bit. Obviously il still have rough patches but Im feeling more and more equipped to ride them out with each day that passes.

Finally beaten my biggest fear. I finally let Ryan do me a couple little tattoos 💜😊 (I mean they aren’t quite done, I screamed, swore the house down and the. tapped out and wouldn’t let him go over them a 3rd time quite yet so they’re gonna have to be finished another day but I’m still well proud of myself!!)

Its only £20 an hour and im very fast! I also give a free hour for every five paid for! A tidy up usually takes an hour and a half, and I can usually do a whole head of new dreads in about 6 hours depending on your hair type!
