So it's looking like 12th April 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I won't be booking any appointments as yet, those of you with bookings affected by the lockdown I will be contacting first.

Then I will be working on future bookings.

I have not decided what date exactly I will be going back yet but as I'm sure most of you will remember some precious little boy has a birthday in April and mummy has plans to make his day as special as she can, this may mean I don't rush back when we have the green light.
I know this may be disappointing to hear trust me I am eager to get back to work, I just want to dedicate my undivided attention to Charlie for his special day, after all he hasn't quite had the most exciting 1st year indoors with mummy.🤦🏼‍♀️

We can see the light at the end of this bleak tunnel though almost there.

Step away from the Box dyes........ (liz 🤪) I WILL be back soon enough

❤️

Hi all,

So I am slowly ( apologies I have an active 7 month old ) getting round to rescheduling appointments for December.

It's very hard to get everyone in with my very restricted work hours, but I am trying to be fair, those that had appointments booked for November I am getting round to messaging and you will have first priority.

Anyone else who wants an appointment please message.

If I have contacted you please get back to me asap as appointments will go fast.

I am looking forward to seeing you, let's hope things don't change again. 🤞🏼

Thank you all for your patience as always

❤️

I had finally plucked up the courage to return to my passion in these scary times!

Boris had other plans 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I'm sorry.

But Charlie has a cheeky smile that mummy isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and you know what maybe mummy does too 😜.

I hope to be back this year but if I'm honest I'm not holding my breath. 🙄😫🤞🏼

Please stay safe everyone and keep a look out for some sneak peaks of the new and improved salon in the next few weeks.

😘❤️.

Well ladies it's that time!........

Yup she's coming back 🤭💇🏼‍♀️

Not sure what date exactly yet, this month I'm going to be starting a waiting list for early November return.
I shall be offering regular weekly appointments, however at the start I will only be working one week day and every other Saturday.

Please be patient if I don't answer messages straight away but feel free to get in touch of you would like to book I will have very limited slots due to the hours/days I'll be able to offer and I will give priority appointments to those who missed them during the pandemic.

Can't wait to see you all

💇🏼‍♀️💕

Morning all, once again I have to apologise for my lack of updates.
I had hoped for this post to be letting you all know of my return, but unfortunately after some serious consideration and a little dabble at a steady return sadly I have decided I am just not ready.

It's been a strange old year, and in the middle of this scary pandemic the most precious little boy entered my world and I just want to wrap him up in my arms and never let go.
Becoming Mummy to him has been the best Job I could ever wish for, and unfortunately my old job my passion has to wait a little while longer for me to learn how to do both.

I thank you all endlessly for your continued support and loyalty I really do love my job and am excited for my return, sadly I just don't feel ready right now with everything that's going on with Covid-19.

During lockdown I have redesigned the salon so when I do re open you can enjoy a newly refurbished salon.

So much love
Anna

Client Notice ( warning it's long 🙆🏼‍♀️)

Firstly I would like to say I hope that all of my amazing clients and your family's are keeping well? It is such a frightening time for us all right now, but I'm confident if we all work together we will get through this, at what time who knows but let's stay positive💪🏼!

Sadly however, after some very emotional days spent this week considering my options i feel that I have no choice but to close my lovely little salon earlier than I had anticipated.

This has been a difficult decision and one I haven't taken lightly, I have felt fiercely dedicated to working up until what I felt was my limit before my due date,
However with the severity of the situation and that I find myself in a vulnerable position, I feel I have no choice but to stop working, this is not only to protect myself my baby and my husband but also to protect you my clients and your family's.
Although we all may feel fit and well none of us know that for certain and I feel it's all of our duties to protect our vulnerable people at this time.
I am very sorry to let you down but I know that you will all understand because you are all awesome clients that I value very much.

Please anyone with upcoming appointments feel free to message me, I am aiming to contact you all directly as well but this is the fastest way of letting you all know as a whole.

So now I am going to shut myself away from this scary world and focus on becoming a mummy.
Please keep liking my page and keep an eye out for posts as I will most definitely make a return, when that will be now who knows but I will keep you all very much updated.
And of course let you know if we have a little boy or girl I know everyones desperate to find out 🤭💙💗

Again thank you to all of you for supporting my business I really love what I do and without you I cannot continue to do it so thank you for supporting me it really does mean the world
🌍

Stay safe everyone and remember.... In a world where you can be anything be kind 🙏❤️

Please note i am still open for business as usual until i state otherwise.

However i am almost 8 months pregnant and feeling anxious about the situation, the salon has been cleaned and disinfected as usual
I will be asking all clients to wash your hands on arrival this week and to limit contact with myself (no friendly hugs for now I'm afraid, also especially no touching my bump please )

Also i kindly ask you come in through the side gate in my garden when you arrive to limit the amount of people i have coming through the house.

I appreciate all your support at this scary time and hopefully if we all work together i won't have to close the salon before my maternity leave starts
🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Morning all,

Just want to take a minute to thank all my clients for your ongoing support and loyalty to my small business, i know alot of you are anxious about my impending maternity leave, please know it's taken me many years to build my clientelle , i value each and every one of you, and i am just as nervous to go on leave, however i am beyond excited to become a mummy now and as I'm sure all of you would agree family comes first.

Many of you have all put myself and my baby first regardless of Coronavirus and you've generally been rescheduling your appointments if you have felt unwell.

I am now as you can imagine feeling quite anxious given the current situation we are all being faced with and ask you kindly that if you are showing symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has please please cancel your appointment.
If and where i can i will try to re-book you however this is unlikely to happen with myself finishing work in a little over 3 weeks.

Wishing you all well, let's all try to work together to protect ourselves and our families

❤️

Hi all,

Update on Maternity leave I will not be taking any bookings after the 8th April.
I still do not have an exact date for my return but I am aiming for it to be sometime in August, I will be in touch when I have figured this all out.

I am unable to take any more bookings for the weeks commencing 23 March and the 30th April.

Please if you haven't already done so pre book your appointment with me now, I have various availability during March and some slots left for this month.

Thank you all for your loyalty and support.
❤️

Hey there, sorry I've been radio silent on here, one of my new years resolutions is to be better with my posts on here 🤭.

Most of you are aware by now, but to anyone who isn't I am expecting my first baby 23rd April this year 🤰🏼❤️🙌🏼, myself and Richard are very excited and cannot wait to become parents now.

I will be taking off a few months off work, to soak up all the precious moments that come with becoming a new mum ☺️, currently I haven't worked out exactly what date I will take leave from and until but it will be roughly early April until mid August roughly.

Please can you all start to work out your appointments now to get in with me before I take leave.

I totally appreciate all of your loyalty to my small business and hope you will all cope without me during my maternity leave.

Upon my return I will only be offering select dates and times etc so I would strongly urge you to pre book in advance. I will inform you all of my new working structure at the earliest date I can.

Thank you all for your continued support and allowing me to do what I love.
I'm excited for this next chapter of life.

❤️

Team Blue Iris 29/07/2019

Hope everyone's enjoying the sun today.

As some of you may know, my family and I tragically lost my mother in February this year following a painful battle with Pancreatic cancer. She was only 54.

I’m certain each of us has been affected by the awful ‘C’ word either directly or indirectly. Those that have will know of the amazing work that an array of charities do daily to try and ease the pain and suffering of those afflicted and their families. One in particular Macmillan Cancer Support.

Today my father, brother and two others are taking part in Macmillan’s Longest Day Golf. They will spend the day completing four rounds of golf, that’s 72 holes in one day! All to raise money to help the hard work Macmillan are doing. Any keen golfers will appreciate this is some task. The team teed off at 5am this morning and estimate a finish time of about 8pm tonight!

Macmillan (and other amazing charities) assisted my family at the worst time in our lives, however I won’t pretend what they were able to do was enough. It wasn’t nearly enough, simply put this is because there is always more that could be done or achieved in the fight against and through cancer.

If you are able to donate anything, however small to help encourage Team Blue Iris (Mum’s favourite flower) to complete all 72 holes today, which also happens to be my dads birthday, please find a link below. Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated and hopefully go towards trying to make a difference to another families journey.

Please note we have two pages up as there were teething issues with Macmillan’s page initially, so the Just Giving was set up with all funds going towards the teams total.

My sister and I will be at the Weald of Kent cheering the guys on from the comfort of a golf buggy (and occasionally the club house). If anyone is interested in knowing how they got on I will be upload inn done pictures I am hoping to take of them today.

Thank you, have a wonderful day helping those do good with their money!

Also I would like to wish my dad a happy birthday ♥️
Kind Regards

Anna

Team Blue Iris Stuart Gilchrist, Lee Stuart, and Ben Doe are taking on the Longest Day Golf Challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support. We'll be walking over 20 miles in one day, whilst playing 4 rounds of golf (72 holes). Sponsor Team Blue Iris to show your support for them taking on this heroic challenge!
