Homeschooling Update ✨

Today is proof that the right environment can make all the difference.

When Sonny finished primary school, he achieved amazing SATs results and was doing really well academically.

As time went on in high school, things became much harder. His confidence dropped, hes behaviour changed, he began struggling with his work, and recently he was bringing home scores of around 3/10.

Not to mention the other problems we had, high school is survival and no one can tell me otherwise! 💔 And surviving every day isn’t good for anyone’s nervous system.

I know there are some incredible teachers, and I’m so grateful for the ones who genuinely cared about Sonny. But from our own experience, I do believe the system doesn’t work for every child.

Today, after just a few weeks of learning in a way that suits him better at home, he got 7/10
in both his maths and English.

I know it’s “only” 7 out of 10 to some people, but to us it’s so much more than a number.

It’s confidence.
It’s believing in himself again.
It’s seeing that he can do it.
And I feel like I finally have my son back 🥹❤️‍🩹

I’m so so proud of you, Sonny.

Spent years working towards one career…

Then I realised my happiness was somewhere completely different.

Choosing aesthetics was the biggest career U-turn I’ve ever made, but it’s also the best decision I’ve ever made.

The truth about correcting uneven lips…

Social media can sometimes make it seem like every treatment creates perfect symmetry in one appointment.

The reality is that every pair of lips—and every face—is different.

In this case, our goal wasn’t perfection. It was a first time lip filler appointment to improve balance, add subtle volume, and keep the result looking natural.

You can already see a noticeable improvement, but there’s still a small amount of natural asymmetry.

Depending on the cause, some lips benefit from a gradual approach over multiple treatments to achieve the best possible balance, while others will always have a degree of asymmetry because that’s simply how they’re naturally formed.

For me, the most important thing is giving honest advice and achieving the best result for your anatomy, not chasing an unrealistic standard.
