As a curly girl myself, I know how difficult it can be to find a salon where you truly feel safe, seen, and understood.
Thatโs exactly why I built Crowned in Purpose. Not just to care for wavy, curly, and coily hair, but to remind you that you were beautifully created, and your natural hair is never something you should feel insecure about.
For years, our curls have been labelled as difficult, unmanageable, or too much. But what if theyโve simply been misunderstood? What if no one ever took the time to truly learn how to care for them?

Who doesn't love a goodie bag?
As you can see: A weekend at turned into BAGS filled with products and samples! The only thing I shopped myself was some cute foils from .bleach ๐ which I can not wait to use in the salon soon!
I am literally speechless. Can not wait to try out everything.

As a curly hair specialist, it was so lovely to see the diversity, creativity, and passion that we all share for hair. It reminded me how artistic this industry really is and why I fell in love with doing hair in the first place. Not just because I get to help others feel good about themselves, but because it gives me the freedom to be creative too. ๐ฅน๐
It was also really nice to finally meet people Iโve been following for a while and connect with new people! Although itโs been a year since I moved to the UK, Iโm still taking every opportunity I can to put myself out there and build connections. HairCon was the perfect place for that! ๐คญ
I came for the networking and inspiration, and left feeling so excited and fulfilled! And don't forget about the BAGSSS full of goodies I've got that I can't wait to show you in a separate video! ๐โโ๏ธ๐
My feet hurt, my social battery needs a recharge, but my heart is full. What a weekend! If you're a hair professional, then this is a MUST visit! Can't wait for next year. ๐ค

You should be able to try different hairstyles whenever you like. As long as you donโt neglect or hide what God has already blessed you with.
For years, many of us were taught to fight, hide, or change our natural hair. Yet the very thing we spent so much time trying to fix was never a flaw to begin with.
Your curls are beautiful. Your texture is beautiful. The way God created you is beautiful. Wear your hair however you want, but donโt forget to embrace the crown youโve already been given.
