My wife and I decided it was time we did something that would help to make a change to what is currently one of the biggest issues globally at the moment. Having recently moved back home to Manchester, we were impressed with how well organised Manchester appeared to be with recycling. Yet on closer inspection, we noticed that countless numbers of household items cannot be recycled and end up in the bin. Furthermore, the majority of these packages could be easily re-used in some form.

We had heard about the concept of zero waste shops, and that they were growing in popularity in major cities. However the area that we live in has some of the highest rents in Manchester, and running a business would be almost impossible with the extortionate overheads. Then one day it hit me, why not offer this as a home service thereby reducing the overheads and creating a service that is convenient for everyone.
