On Wednesday, our family received devastating news. Our beautiful nephew Arnold (Arnie) has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour that sadly cannot be treated. Imagine telling your 13 year old son that he has less than a year to live. The doctors have given him a prognosis of 6-12 months to live and his health with soon start to rapidly decline. His mobility, ability to eat, and speak will soon be greatly affected. He’s already struggling to walk and his speech is now affected. We want to ensure that he can create lasting memories with his family, and make the most of his time.

Arnie is a such a loving and affectionate boy who is hilarious and full of life. He’s desperate to experience as much as he can before his health deteriorates rapidly. Although he is being very brave, he’s incredibly scared and sad to be leaving his family behind, including his three brothers and sister, especially his little brother Ivan who he won’t get to see grow up. This devastating news has left us all broken hearted, and we are determined to make his remaining time as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.

Both of Arnie’s parents are self-employed, and with their focus now solely on his care, they will struggle to stay financially stable. The financial burden they face is immense with a family of 7 to support, they will be unable to cover their daily living costs, bills, and mortgage. We want to urgently move the whole family from down south to Manchester to rent a new house where he can be closer to all his family and get the support they need. Arnold is desperate to be with his family in Manchester.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in Arnold’s life and allow his family to focus on creating precious moments together and help move them to Manchester. We understand that not everyone may be in a position to donate, but sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks can also greatly help in spreading the word and reaching our goal. Especially when people really care! A little message to say appointments aren’t just about having your hair done, we’re also here to talk and listen. 😊

I’ve noticed a change in clients since COVID, people are suffering with anxiety, lack of motivation and a general low mood which is very understandable in these difficult times.

The salon is a safe space to discuss all topics, feelings and worries. We don’t judge or dismiss anyone and most importantly everything is private! We’re not trained professionals however we’ve had a lot of experience over the years and developed good listening skills 😅

Salon update!

We’re reopening! 🥳🥳

There will be a lot of changes in the salon and unfortunately we won’t be able to fit as many clients in as normal due to all the precautions we’ll have to take.

We’ve also had a price increase due to all the extra PPE cost, all the extra time spent cleaning.

Me and Andrea will be working separate days in order to follow the 2 meter rule. I’ll be working 3 days a week. Andrea will be doing the other days.

Friday 1 till 9
Saturday 9 till 5

We are proposing to start work on 4th July and would like to give you the opportunity to book your hair appointment in advance.
As a result of government guidelines we will be in the appropriate PPE, we would also ask you to wear a face mask. We will supply you with a face mask for a small fee and politely insist you don’t use your own.
On arrival, please could you call us from your car and we will let you know if the coast is clear for you to enter. We will take your temperature with an electronic device and ask you to wash your hands, sanitizer is available at all times.
The salon will be constantly sanitized after each client to avoid potential cross contamination in line with post COVID regulations.
If you have any symptoms please could you rearrange your appointment.
We are proud to let you know The salon has passed the COVID 19 certification program.

Non refundable deposit will also be taken.

This is my client Chantelle. She had baby lights over 4 months ago to add more dimension and to soften the dark base colour. Baby lights are a great way to add a subtle change that’s Cerys low maintenance.

💇🏼‍♀️ Roots are something every 4 to 6 weeks and purple shampoo in between appointments to prevent unwanted warm tones
