When our young patient came to our clinic she was experiencing moderate to severe acne, with active breakouts,redness and early acne scarring affecting her confidence and overall skin health.
Following a detailed consultation our clinical team developed a personalised treatment plan focused on controlling the active acne, reducing inflammation and preventing further scarring.
The initial stage of treatment included light therapy three times per week to help calm inflammation and target acne-causing bacteria. Alongside this a tailored Obagi skincare programme at home to maintain skin health, support hydration and improve skin function.
Once the active acne had begun to settle we introduced a course of three Obagi Blue Peel Radiance treatments to encourage skin renewal and overall skin clarity.
The next phase involved three dermaroller treatments combined with Exosomes. This advanced treatment helped support skin repair, reduce inflammation and stimulate healthier skin regeneration. Additional light therapy sessions were also incorporated to further calm the skin and optimise healing
With the acne successfully brought under control we then focused on improving the remaining acne scarring with a course of CO2 skin resurfacing treatments.
The transformation over 12 months has been remarkable.
