Beauty by Faye

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a massive over sharer, nothing is sacred and if you’ve had your brows done by me you’ll be fully aware I suffer with IBD, which is a very unpredictable life long chronic disease. I’d like to think I manage it quite well and still live a normal life as there are much worse diseases and people suffering a lot worse than me.

However😂… the last few months I’ve been in a bad flare up and I’ve basically tried to power through and ignore it hoping my usual meds would keep me going, I didn’t listen to my body and was still working flat out and doing all my usual running about and it eventually took its toll on my body causing me to collapse in agony (while on the school run luckily I was still in the car) I can’t really remember much after that but I ended up admitted to hospital for 5 days and after scans etc I’ve got kidney stone stuck caused by dehydration from being so unwell with Crohn’s, let me tell you I’d rather give birth again TWICE than try pass a kidney stone naturally 🙃
Im still in a lot of pain intermittently and don’t know how I’m going to feel from one day to the other which is hell on earth for a micromanaging control freak like me!

So, my plan now is to hopefully be back at work this Tuesday 28th Oct but I’m going to reduce my hours slightly while I get myself sorted and back fighting fit 💪🏽 I’ve got loads of hosp appointments soon so I will have to shift people around a bit but I’m confident I’ll be back to my normal working hours in the next few weeks

Sorry for the absolute novel but I thought I’d do a post save me messaging everyone separately but I’m sure I’ll tell the full tale 1000s of times when I’m back in my happy place in my little room with all of you gorgeous girls who have been sooo understanding and made this awful time a lot easier for me, so thank you all for that as being self employed when you’re genuinely not well is one of the scariest things ever!!

Please keep an eye on your emails as there might be some amended or cancelled appointments, if they aren’t suitable let me know or pop onto the booking system to reschedule it yourself. Thanks so much girls 😘

Really sorry but Faye is unwell and won’t be in work tomorrow. I’m sure she will be in touch in a few days once she pulls round a bit but as it stands the next couple of days she won’t be around.
