The start of the year is always busy with admin and somehow I’ve managed to organise my diary up until April 🙌🏻🙌🏻

The booking page has had a bit of TLC and an update to include consultation appointments and there is now a gift voucher tab.

Consultations have and always will be included in every appointment but there is now a tab specifically for consultation only.

Gift vouchers can be purchased online now. As always gift vouchers can be made up to any amount. There is an option to collect nicer vouchers from clinic if you’d prefer rather than a print out- there are no extra charge for these.

It can be so hard to try and find time to look after ourselves. Life is busy. When I ask the majority of any new patients that come into clinic if they wear SPF the answer is usually no.

A journey of striping it back, going back to baseline and embracing natural beauty.
My beautiful patient presented with lips which were overfilled and puffy. More and more filler had been added to correct lumps and unevenness.

Now we carefully treat her lips every so often with careful consideration for her facial anatomy. One size simply doesn’t fit all 🫶🏼

✨Introducing Polynucleotides✨

Hello its me returning for a rare social media post- things are a tad busy behind the scenes.

I’ve been working with polynucleotides since the end of last year now with a number of patients. You may have heard of polynucleotides online and wonder if this is a good treatment for you.

What are the benefits of polynucleotides?
- Stimulate collagen and elastin production
- Improves skin firmness which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and crepey appearing skin
- Promote cell regeneration which can lead to the skin looking brighter and smoother
- Can help with hyperpigmentation and scaring such as acne scarring and sun damage

Have a look at my patients results. These pictures were 4 months apart after four sessions of polynucleotides. She looks fabulous and glowing. The overall skin health looks greatly improved, smoother and fine lines have hugely improved especially under her eyes. What’s even better she is religious with her skin care and will continue this using which has complimented her treatments brilliantly.

Unfortunately I am seeing an increase of patients coming to see me with complications after receiving treatments from non regulated practitioners. This can be hugely distressing for patients to have to deal with and these complications are never an overnight fix.

The Scottish government has finally published a paper on proposed regulation of practitioners carrying out non surgical treatments in Scotland.

There is a questionnaire on this page asking the public their opinion on who they feel certain treatments such as dermal filler and anti wrinkle treatments should be given by and under what setting (regulated or not).

I urge my patients past and present to have a look at this questionnaire and contribute their thoughts.

There are loads of great practitioners out there who are regulated and I’m always happy to recommend or discuss the issues identified in this paper.

Do not risk your face in the hands of someone who is not appropriately trained, not regulated, does not have the ability to follow you up promptly (such as pop up clinics coming from another area) and happy to offer a very cheap deal using fake or poor product. Never trust someone who is happy to be a vending machine and not assess YOU as whole 🫶🏻

I am now up to date with all my clients which has taken slightly longer than anticipated but I am delighted everyone is sorted 🙌🏻

I am taking some time off from clinic to have baby and find my feet. I am sure life and the pace will change drastically 😅

Thank you to all my clients for being patient with me. I have a huge amount of admiration for all woman who have ever gone through pregnancy. It is tough and I am amazed at what our bodies can do 💖
