In Balance Yoga

When I’ve been rushing about all week and I see the big ball in the sky before my 6am class, it stopped me in my tracks and I took a deep breath. Sometimes I can’t before that this what I do, this is me!

Sometimes you forget that other people see you…they really do. They see your thoughts, they see your emotions, they see you care…there is actually nothing nicer than being acknowledged. Children do it with dandelions, daisies, have eaten biscuits maybe as adults we should do the same!

How is it is it only Wednesday?? I think I’m on Plan F!! One of my favourite says i is “life happens when you are making plans” and I had massive plans for this week which have literally been rained on! Tonight is the start on my classes for this week, I’m sitting here planning and my yoga teacher community knows that they never go to plan!! 🤞🧘‍♀️

Happy Spring Equinox….Congratulations you’ve got through the winter! Dark mornings, dark nights, long days & months you’ve had them all and came out the other end! Spring has been trying hard to show us what it has to offer. It’s hard sometimes to look forward, clean out and starts anew but if there is anytime to do it, it’s now 🌼

Last week I was asked by a new member what yoga did…after teaching training I could have answered this in many ways! I don’t have a fitness watch, I don’t monitor how many calories I burn or how much my heart rate rises but I do know when I start breathing correctly, my body starts relaxing and my mind is clear that yoga is doing its magic but for those who like to know calories stats here is one from one of my 45mins class! Pretty cool 🧘‍♀️

March….how has it came so quickly? It doesn’t mean we have to move quicker, just take your time, ease yourself into the new month and new season slowly and gently!

Aren’t we lucky that we get an extra day on earth? Good or bad some people would love to have it so whatever you use it for or however it goes just be grateful that you can see the sun rise and set today x #2024

Don’t normally post personal photographs but sometimes children show you it’s the simple things in life! A pen, piece of paper, drawing suns and waiting for her “boy”!! We could all take a leaf out of her book!!
