Wow gosh, well done Cindy. When do we really consider our values, all too often we only consider them when they have been compromised.

As our hormones fluctuate, many of us experience headaches more frequently—sometimes feeling like a never-ending battle. From intense migraines to constant tension headaches, it can be tough. But don’t just accept it as part of the journey—your body may be telling you something.

Lifestyle changes like staying hydrated, managing stress, improving posture, and getting enough rest can make a big difference. If you're struggling, talking to your GP or a physiotherapist might uncover other causes or solutions. Listen to your body 💜

Happy World Menopause day 🩷

Unstoppable,
they called her.

But I saw her stop.
I saw her stop many times.
Sometimes,
I thought she had stopped for good.

But no,
she always found a way to resurrect.
Rise again.

Not the same,
never the same.
Each time a little more determined,
and a little less vulnerable.

Unstoppable, they said.
But I think it was in the stopping,
that she found her power.

We have probably all heard of the usually associated hot flushes, night sweats low mood and anxiety. However, symptoms can be much more diverse and overlap with other hormonal irregularities which then play their parts in the hormonal symphony which makes up our wonderful bodies. I believe that we are far more than the sum total of our s*x hormones oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

As women approach the menopause our metabolic health can be negatively influenced by the reduction of oestrogen and fluctuations in the release of adrenaline and thyroxine leading to insulin resistance.
