Maggie’s story 🤍🥺

Maggie developed eczema when she was just 3 months old.

Like so many families, her parents followed the advice they were given and used topical steroid creams to try and manage her symptoms. At the time, they had no idea that this journey would eventually lead them to discovering Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW).

When they started researching TSW and decided to stop using the steroid creams, Maggie’s skin became so severe that her parents said she looked like she’d suffered burns. They felt completely alone.

At the time, many healthcare professionals didn’t recognise TSW, leaving Maggie’s family searching for answers on their own while watching their little girl live in constant pain.

By the time Maggie came to us, she was trapped in a relentless itch cycle. Her skin was broken, inflamed and covered in scabs. She wore gloves to stop scratching, struggled to sleep, had to give up hobbies she loved and missed time at school because of how unwell she was.

Using our personalised eczema protocol, we saw Maggie twice a week, focusing on calming inflammation, repairing her skin barrier and supporting her healing from the inside out. Within 12 weeks, the difference was incredible. She was back swimming, back enjoying family holidays and, most importantly, back to being a little girl again. 🤍

Her journey isn’t over, and she still experiences flare ups and carries the emotional impact of everything she went through. But compared to where she started, she has come such a long way.

Stories like Maggie’s are exactly why we continue to talk about TSW and real skin conditions. The more we raise awareness, the more families realise they’re not alone.

We support men, women and children with eczema, acne, psoriasis and TSW. If you or someone you know is struggling, please know there is support available and we would love to welcome you 🤍🤍

This is why we always say skin is never just skin.

This client’s journey wasn’t just about treating acne. During her consultations, we discovered she hadn’t had a period in over a year. That led us to encourage further investigations, where she was diagnosed with PCOS. From there, we supported her with a personalised plan to help regulate her hormones while treating her skin from the inside out.

Over the course of a year, we combined medical-grade skincare, targeted supplements, dietary changes and in clinic treatments to improve both her skin and her overall wellbeing.

Healing takes time, and every journey looks different. But when you take the time to understand why the skin is behaving the way it is, that’s when real, lasting results happen.

If you’re feeling the same and would like to dive deeper into your skin, book a free consultation via the link in our bio. 🔗 We would love to welcome you 🤍

We honestly didn’t expect this little reel to resonate with so many people.

Reading through the comments, one thing became really obvious…

So many mums are putting themselves last.

We get it. Life gets busy, childcare isn’t always easy, and it’s so easy to convince yourself that you’ll book “one day.”

We just wanted to remind you that you’re important too. That’s why we’ve always welcomed babies into the clinic. If they need feeding, cuddles, a nap or just to be close to you, that’s absolutely fine with us.

We never wanted childcare to be the reason someone didn’t come and do something for themselves. If our little reel reminded even one mum that she deserves to be looked after too, or gave her the confidence to finally book something she’d been putting off… Then it did exactly what we hoped it would. 🤍

And if you’re reading this wondering whether you should book… this is your sign. We’d love to welcome you (baby included). ✨

This redness? Completely normal!

Skin needling creates controlled micro injuries to stimulate collagen and trigger skin repair…..

We started here…
Targeting pigmentation, uneven tone and improving the overall health of the skin...

By encouraging cell turnover and collagen production, healthier skin starts to reveal itself.

Good skin takes time and consistency 🫶🏼

Another acne transformation… but proof that not every skin journey looks the same 👀

With this client, we knew we had to take a slightly different approach. Alongside the breakouts, there was also a huge amount of redness and inflammation present, so before jumping straight into our usual acne protocol, we spent time focusing on calming the skin first.

So far, we’ve completed 4 IPL sessions to target the redness, and the difference already speaks for itself.

Now that the inflammation has dramatically reduced, we’re moving on to the next stage - continuing to tackle the breakouts through chemical peels and a full personalised skincare routine.

A reminder that good skin takes time. And sometimes the best results come when you stop treating everyone the same.

Reasons not to get a peel…

You might leave with smoother skin, a brighter complexion and an unhealthy obsession with how good your skin feels afterwards 👀

Jokes aside, chemical peels can be amazing for concerns such as:

✨ dull skin
✨ pigmentation
✨ acne
✨ congestion
✨ uneven texture
✨ fine lines

The key is choosing the right peel for your skin and your goals.

Not all peels are created equal, which is why we always personalise treatment recommendations rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
