A little bit about me... 🤍

For those of you I've not had the pleasure of meeting yet, I thought I'd introduce myself...

I'm Donna – the face behind Hair by Donna Marie. ✂️

I'm a mum to three boys, partner to Rob, and I genuinely love what I do.

I've been a hairdresser for 28 years and have had my own salon for the last 3 years.

Opening my own salon was a dream, and I'm so grateful for the support that's helped make it what it is today.

For me, hairdressing is about so much more than hair. I love the conversations, the laughs, and helping my clients leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my little business over the years. Whether you've been with me from the beginning or have only recently sat in my chair, I truly appreciate every single one of you.

I feel so lucky to do what I love every single day. It's been an amazing journey, and I couldn't have done it without the support of my wonderful clients, friends, and everyone who has believed in me along the way.

In just a few days time.. Three years ago I opened Hair by Donna Marie with more hope than certainty… and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most emotional, rewarding, and unforgettable journeys of my life.

There have been moments of pure pride where I’ve looked around and thought...I built this… and other moments of doubt where I’ve had to dig deep and keep going.

But through it all, my little salon has become so much more than a workplace. It’s become a space full of trust, laughter, stories, and connection.

I’ve been lucky enough to meet the most incredible clients, many of whom have become like friends.

I’m endlessly grateful for every single person who has supported me, sat in my chair, recommended me, or simply believed in me along the way.

Thank you for helping me turn a dream into reality.
Three years on, I’m still emotional about it, still proud of it, and still just as passionate as I was on day one. 💔✨💇‍♀️
