As many of you know, skin health is something I’m incredibly passionate about, and sometimes the most meaningful journeys are the personal ones.

Recently, my eldest daughter suddenly developed psoriasis, something she had never experienced before. As a teenage girl, she was understandably very self conscious about it, and it was also causing her a great deal of discomfort. Seeing it appear so unexpectedly on her elbows and knees and watching her struggle with both the physical symptoms and the impact on her confidence was incredibly difficult.

We decided to take a holistic approach, starting her on targeted topical products while also making some positive changes to her diet. The photos show her skin at the beginning of this journey, when her psoriasis was at its worst and causing significant discomfort.

Out and about in town, I often spot my lovely facial clients walking their dogs and my first thought is always… have they got their SPF on?
