Hi all, sorry about this message but I have to put it out there.

Over the last 5 weeks, Saints has lost over 20 hours to cancelations on Tuesdays.
It’s really odd.
I appreciate that people absolutely aren’t just not turning up.
And also it’s great you are rebooking later too.
Thank you.
But if you only let us know from Saturday through until the actual day of your appointment, (we are closed Sunday and Monday,) we have about zero chance of filling that cancelation.
In fact, from 20 hours lost , we have only rebooked those appointments for 2 hours total, if you only let us know between the Saturday and the Tuesday.. that’s over the entire 5 weeks.
I don’t want to take to have to take deposits, and have always thought it counter productive to charge for missed appointments or fine people. I think that’s a great way to lose clients if that was my goal, which it isn’t.
An average approx £50 an hour income x 20 is a £1000 gap.. and that’s not including the potential clients we lose because we can’t fit them in on a day that suits them, because we were full..then we aren’t, and we’ve lost them.
I have no idea why Tuesday is often busier than Saturday. And this is a specific Tuesday problem because if someone cancels through the rest of the week, more people are contacting us so it’s easier to fill.
I also have no idea why this has peaked since November, it hasn’t been apparent previously.
So I’m asking you, please, if you can’t make your appointment please please let us know earlier than many of you are doing currently.
This isn’t an attack on anyone who’s done this, so please don’t take it that way.

Just please give us more notice.
We really can’t afford it.
