I always get asked ‘how long will my BTX last?!’
Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin that when injected into the neuromuscular junction, it causes paralysis.
There is no linear answer to the question but to give a rough guide the product I use (Azzalure always!✨) will give a minimum of 3 month of good effect, wearing down naturally over the last few weeks.
As your tox is a toxin to the body you WANT your body to break it down. It is unnatural for it to stay in your body for 6months plus which some dodgey unlicensed tox can give you🙈
Anything after this 3 month mark is on your lifestyle. How active you are, are you exposed to UV lights, how fast is your metabolism etc.
