Ten whole years of TheFaceHouse! 😭🤍

I opened this salon at 25, and over the past ten years it has been my constant, my passion and my safe space.

This salon has watched me grow up and build a life. I’ve gotten married, I’ve navigated grief, and I’ve done it all alongside running this business.

I’ve always been incredibly independent, and I’m so proud of everything I’ve built and achieved, but I also know how much easier it’s been with the most supportive husband I could have ever wished for, my best friends, and my amazing family by my side. I’m endlessly grateful for all of you.

The Facehouse was the original independent makeup salon to open in Newcastle, and when I first opened, I had no idea if it was even going to work out, let alone still be here ten years later.

I’m proud to have created a relaxed, welcoming, and accommodating space for people of all ages, somewhere everyone feels comfortable, cared for, and at home.

For me, I’ve created more than just a salon. I’ve built a team that feels like family. I get to spend every working day with the most talented team of people, a team that celebrates every client who walks through the door, cheers each other on, and fills The Facehouse with fun, happiness, love, and confidence and I genuinely love every single one of them.

We have the kindest, most loyal, and most amazing clients, some of whom I’ve made friends for a lifetime.

I don’t often publicly celebrate my wins, but reaching this milestone feels different.

We made it through Covid, rising costs, and some of the toughest years small businesses have ever faced, and I’m immensely proud that we’re still here.

Thankyou all for choosing us, for helping me build,sustain, and grow over the past ten years.
