This is the sentence my ex received on Thursday for his coercive control charge.
Is it the outcome I wanted? No.
In reality the outcome I wanted was to be loved by the man I adored.
You dont enter a relationship for it to end this way. It wasnt supposed to end like this.
Living with someone in addiction has been hard, trying to save someone who needs to save themself.
Love alone, isn't enough.
Im not sure I'll ever understand it.
My heart is broken, my nervous system completely disregulated.
Life hasnt felt real for a while.

As i walked out of court a white feather flew straight to me. I think my Rafa has been giving me the last strength ive had to get through this, he hasnt left my side.
This next part is healing, however that comes.
