🚨 URGENT – STOLEN DOG & LACK OF POLICE ACTION 🚨

We are absolutely devastated and angry to be sharing this.

One of our recently adopted dogs was STOLEN yesterday while secured outside a pharmacy.
Despite this being reported immediately, we have been informed that no meaningful police action will be taken until Tuesday – leaving a FOUR-DAY window where a stolen dog can disappear, be sold on, dumped, or harmed.

What makes this even more distressing:

🔹 The pharmacy has CCTV covering the exact location
🔹 They are refusing to release footage due to GDPR
🔹 Police have not seized or requested the footage urgently
🔹 The dog is vulnerable and not street-savvy

Let us be absolutely clear:

👉 GDPR does NOT prevent police from accessing CCTV for a crime
👉 Time is critical in dog theft cases
👉 Every hour lost reduces the chance of recovery

We work tirelessly to protect dogs, place them safely into homes, and do everything “by the book”. To then be met with delays, buck-passing, and inaction when a dog is stolen is completely unacceptable.

This dog is not “property” to us — she is a life. She has already been through enough.

We are asking:

📣 For this to be shared far and wide
📣 For pressure to be applied for urgent police action
📣 For anyone with information to come forward immediately
