Skin reaction after waxing? You need to see this…

This lovely client reacts to every type of wax – even the sensitive formulas. It’s not sore, itchy, or an allergy – it just looks really angry straight after waxing. Her legs looked completely normal beforehand, but within minutes of waxing, she had the reaction you can see in the first photo.

This always clears by the following day, and her skin settles down to look like the second photo before completely going back to normal.

Yesterday, while she was in for a lash lift & tint, I offered to trial the Dermalux LED Phototherapy machine to see if it could help calm things quicker.

I used a combination of Red Light (to reduce inflammation and promote healing) and Near Infrared Light (which helps with deeper tissue repair and soothing redness).

Within just 20 minutes, the redness had calmed dramatically! My client even said, “This is what my legs usually look like the next day – you’ve just done that in 20 minutes!”

What a transformation!
