The blue bows worn today are a tribute to him and a symbol of the love, memories, and impact he leaves behind. 🪽

When Becky sat in my chair, she showed me her dream hair.

Bright. Creamy. Expensive-looking blonde. No brown streaks through the ends, lighter from root to tip but with dimensions only at the root.

But what social media doesn’t always show is the starting point.

Becky had long, thick hair with previous box dye through the lengths. Whilst there were some lighter pieces throughout, she’d never had a full blonde transformation before, she’s tried but has never been brighter than what she is now.

However with box dye involved, it’s impossible to guarantee exactly how light hair will lift in one appointment.

During every consultation, my job isn’t to tell clients what they want to hear.

My job is to be honest.

I explained that warmth is completely normal when lifting darker colour, that box dye can be unpredictable, and that protecting the health of her hair would always be my priority.

The good news?

Becky trusted the process.

Five hours later, after Airtouch, back-to-back foils, root melting and glossing, we achieved this beautiful lived-in blonde while keeping her hair feeling healthy and looking shiny.

Could we go lighter in future?

Absolutely.

As a colour specialist, I can already see areas I’d love to lift further to create an even cleaner blonde. But great blonde hair isn’t about rushing the process, it’s about making the right decisions at the right time.

The best part?
