Hi guys ... one final post.

I just wanted to thank you all, for your lovely comments, texts , cards , flowers etc. I'm so lucky to have met such lovely people.

Time to hang up my scissors and turn off my wax pot.

It is with a heavy heart I am announcing the closure of image beauty and hair design at the end of this month.

For a while it has been a struggle to give the best of me to both the business I love and the overwhelming love I have for my three children.
Caerleon Road has been my workplace and second home for the past 20 years. I initially started working there as a beauty therapist. I am forever grateful to Jane my lovely boss for taking a chance on me.
As I became interested in hair and after completing hairdressing, Jane gave me the opportunity to be a stylist.
As times change and Jane moved on the business changed hands . I remained there in the salon above self employed starting my business image beauty.
Then later came another change and another opportunity which I admit was scary at the time led me to where the business has been for the past 8 years , image beauty and hair design.

I feel I can no longer commit to the pressures of both my home and work life and believe me it has been one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make.
I have always strived to give the best of myself, work hard for my children to provide for them in the best way I can, and equally I have done the same in trying my best for all you guys to deliver the best results, customer satisfaction and that happy fab feeling when you leave the salon.

I want to take this opportunity to thank every single person that has come through that door that has helped make the salon such a success over the last 15 years! I am going to miss so many of you that I do believe are more than clients , you are friends. We have shared so many, laughs, life stories and even secrets! I will miss our catch ups and life updates. I wish you all the very best and cannot thank you enough for all your loyalty, love and support. A huge thank you to Heidi & Marnie for your loyalty and hard work as well as every member of staff both past and present who have worked hard alongside me you have all been amazing bringing your skills and talents and again help the salon be such a success.

The salon's last day is Saturday 30th September. All appointments up until then will go ahead. I will be contacting everyone that is booked in after that date to cancel or move before if wanted. I am so sorry to let you down. But I believe the time has come. Although I am saddened, I am a tad excited for my future and new beginnings.
