Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing a post like this, especially after surviving the ups and downs of the past year.
As some of you are aware, I am expecting our second child. Last week I had an experience, that has put my work into question.
After considering all the medical advice I've received, I've been left with no other option but to take it as handy as possible before our little one arrives. Therefore, I have to close the door of my business.
On Friday 4th March 2011 I opened The Barber Shop with nothing more than hopes and dreams. Fulfilling my childhood ambition of cutting hair and owning a business. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time in Cloughoge, and I cannot thank everybody enough who has championed me, allowing me to work at something I love. This is why the decision has been extremely difficult.
Over the 10 years, I've lived my highest highs & lowest lows with the support of many I now call friends. But, for now, it's the end of a very happy chapter for me. Thank you for all the memories. Debra.

Hopefully by later on today we have a date for reopening.

There's Alot of speculation it may be as early as next week, but until Michelle & Arlene come out and announce this I cannot take appointments.

Hope you understand, and as soon as they give the go ahead the flood gates will open!

The Executive has agreed to extend the current lockdown to 1st April.
This will be subject to review again on 18th March.
So it's looking like home haircuts are going to have to do for a while yet!!

Just back from checking the place is still standing & came across this poor divil. He's patiently waiting for when we can reopen.

Whenever we are allowed to reopen I'll be delighted to welcome you all back.

Going to have to wait a while longer for a haircut 🙈

Restrictions have now been extended until 5th March 2021.
