💜 A Kind Reminder to All Our Lovely Clients 💜

At Studio One Tanning, we always strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.

Unfortunately, due to the size of our waiting area, we have had to make the difficult decision that prams and young children can no longer be in the waiting area.

Our waiting area is very narrow, and prams can block the walkway, making it difficult for both our staff and other customers to move around the salon safely.

We are also very sorry to say that we can no longer allow young children in the waiting area. On several occasions, children have been climbing on the seating and pulling on the large mirror above it. If the mirror were to come loose or fall, it could cause serious injury, and the safety of our customers, their children, and our staff must always come first.

We have also experienced children running in and out of our sunbed rooms and pulling on the door handles while customers are using the sunbeds. Unfortunately, our staff cannot supervise children while also carrying out their daily responsibilities and serving customers. This creates a safety risk, disturbs other clients’ privacy and comfort, and is something we can no longer allow.

This decision has not been made lightly, and we completely understand that it may be disappointing or inconvenient for some. However, the safety of everyone in the salon must always be our top priority.

We kindly ask that you make alternative arrangements for young children before visiting the salon where possible, and that prams are not brought into the waiting area.

Tanning Salon Assistant / Key Holder (18+)

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking person to join our team at Studio 1 Tanning Salon, Newry.

This is a position of responsibility, so we’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, enjoys working with customers and is happy working independently.

The role includes:
✨ Opening and closing the salon
✨ Key holder responsibilities
✨ Handling cash and card payments
✨ Providing excellent customer service
✨ Cleaning and sanitising tanning beds and rooms after every use
✨ Maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness throughout the salon

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔️ 18 years or over
✔️ Honest, reliable and trustworthy
✔️ Friendly and confident with customers
✔️ Able to work independently
✔️ Extremely flexible with working hours, including covering holidays and sickness when required
✔️ Previous experience is preferred but not essential
