A new chapter begins….

After 31 years in the same spot,it’s time for a fresh start!
I am excited to share the news that I’ll be relocating and downsizing my salon.
It will be just me, flying solo but with the same passion, care and dedication you’ve come to know.
To my amazing clients, thank you for your loyalty, support and friendship over the years.
You’ve helped make my salon a special place and I truly hope you’ll join me in this next chapter.

Why does January always feel like the looooonnnnngest month?

Here at Newry BID we aren’t going to be beat by the ‘January Blues’, as we know we have lots of great shops, services and activities in the city to brighten up even the darkest day.

Over the next four Fridays in January, we are going to try to boost your mood too….

What an incredible time this has been, filled with the happiest memories!

Your support, loyalty and kindness is unmeasurable and always appreciated.
We have definitely created some special bonds which is truly precious and unique 🫶

Over the years I have had the honour to have worked with the best !
I have made life long friendships which I am truly grateful for.
I fell very blessed to have worked, learnt and laughed with you all .
Gosh we have some stories!!! 🤫
Your creativity, dedication and hard work have made the salon the success it still is today, thank you 🙏

During the 30 years the salon has raised vital funds for a number of charities.
These include;
Breast cancer awareness, Liver Trust N.I, Mourne community first responders and Newry Hospice. 
We couldn’t of done any of this without your continual generosity and support, thank you 👏👏👏

In 1994 a young, very excited Joanna opened the doors not really knowing what to expect, but hoped her love and passion for her craft would be enough🤞
And just like that !✨
30 years later and with a supportive team there is still a very excited Joanna going to her favourite place, to be with her favourite people, to do the job she loves ! ❤️

A massive thank you to all you beautiful people who purchased one of my Christmas wreaths 🙏
This was a project I started through lockdown to keep me focused and have a purpose!
Strange unsettling times for our industry and so many others business but we will rise through this with the help and support of our amazing clients and strong team work ! 💪
All the proceeds of the Xmas wreaths are going to our Newry hospice .
This has been our chosen charity for many years and your support with all our projects is deeply appreciated.
The amount raised so far is now over £1100 🎉
I couldn’t be prouder ☺️🙏
So delighted they all found beautiful homes ❤️
