What to do before your waxing appointment?

Before your appointment:
•Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before to help prevent ingrown hairs.
•Keep the area clean and avoid applying heavy lotions or oils.
•Hair length matters – ideally, about ¼ inch so the wax can grip properly.

Aftercare:
•Avoid hot baths, swimming, or tight clothing for 24–48 hours.
•Exfoliate gently a few days later to prevent ingrown hairs and moisturise the area to keep skin smooth and hydrated.
•Don’t apply deodorant to underarm area for 24 hours after a wax.
•Don’t have s*x for the first 24hrs after your intimate waxing appointment- this can lead to irritation and potentially infection.
•Avoid touching the freshly waxed area.

🌵 How long does my hair need to be for a wax?

For an effective and satisfying treatment, hair should be 1/4 of an inch long. If the hair is too short the wax might not adhere to the hair well and your wax won’t be as effective.

I would recommend booking your wax 3 weeks after you last shaved and if you’re even in doubt just think ‘the longer the better’ 🤍
