What a weekend for my clients πͺπββοΈπ
Before we head into another busy weekend of events for my clients, letβs take a moment to look back at last weekend and celebrate some incredible achievements.
A massive well done to the many clients of mine who took part in the Comber 10K last Friday, hosted by Ballydrain Harriers. I had the privilege of cheering every single one of you on, but here are just a few highlights from the evening:
π David McNeilly β Newcastle Athletic Club who won his age category. Amazing achievement! π
π Mervyn Julie Kinney β Coastal Runners, who not only offered me the chance to run the final 3K for him but also offered me his trainers as he went past! π
π Judith Boydβ Scrabo Striders Running Club, who I was delighted to cheer on and see .
β€οΈ Alison Stocks β This smile says a thousand words. Seeing your joy genuinely warmed my heart.
π₯ Paul Fitchieβ Ward Park Runners, delivering another fantastic performance as always.
π Justin Cleggβ Core Fitness, putting in the miles ahead of his birthday this week!
βοΈ Alexander Watts β Ballydrain Harriers , keeping us updated on the glorious weather that was heading our way. π
Saturday morning then brought a host of my clients to Ards Blair Mayne Leisure Centre for their first taste of HYROX Relay competition.
π©· A special mention to my gorgeous client Victoria Tor, proudly showcasing not only my merch but her strength .
πͺ And to Connor Mcnamara, alongside his lovely wife Nicola, who finally managed to convince him to give it a go! Well done both of you and everyone one of my clients who took part .
π A huge shoutout to my bestie, Shannon Clegg.
Last weekend Shannon competed at Hyrox World Championships in Stockholm and, despite becoming very unwell in the days leading up to the event, she still stepped onto that start line and finished.β
I know Shannon is incredibly disappointed with how things unfolded and feels she wasnβt able to perform at her best. But for me, this is the very definition of resilience. When many people would have pulled out, she showed up, dug deep, and got the job done. That takes courage, determination, and a mindset that refuses to give in. Iβm unbelievably proud of you, Shannon , truly β€οΈ
And finally, Iβve saved the best until lastβ¦
Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Marion Erskine in the clinic will know exactly what I mean when I say sheβs my wee Scottish π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ character! π
Marion started as a client but has become a very dear friend. Sheβs one of my biggest supporters, although sheβs also not afraid to tell me off when needed! π€£
This weekend I had the opportunity to watch her compete in one of her vintage cars at the Classic trials held at Ballywalter Estate and hosted by the Ulster Vintage Car Club. Seeing her out there doing what she loves.
Watching my clients achieve goals, challenge themselves, try new things and simply enjoy being active is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Whether youβre running a 10K, tackling your first HYROX, competing on the world stage, or racing vintage cars around an estate, Iβm proud of every single one of you. β€οΈ
Hereβs to another fantastic weekend ahead! π

π©·Ards Business Awards Finalist 2026 π©·
While we may not have taken home the award on the night, I genuinely meant it when I said before the event that I already felt like a winner.
Being named a finalist was an achievement in itself and a moment I am incredibly proud of.
Every single day, I feel grateful for the amazing clients who choose to walk through my door. The trust you place in me, the support you show my business, the recommendations you make to family and friends, the kind messages, reviews, words of encouragement and gratitude I receive mean far more than any trophy ever could. Knowing that I have helped someone move better, feel better, recover from injury, achieve a goal, or simply have a better quality of life is the greatest reward of all.
As a sole trader, running a business can sometimes feel like a lonely journey, but I never take for granted the incredible community of clients and supporters that surround me. Your loyalty, belief in what I do, and continued support over the years have allowed my business to grow and thrive, and for that I am truly thankful.
Looking back to when I started Kelly Gazzard Sports Massage eight years ago, I could never have imagined where this journey would lead. There have been challenges, long hours, sacrifices, and plenty of moments of self-doubt along the way. None of it would have been possible without the unwavering love, belief, encouragement and support of my beautiful family, who have stood beside me from day one and continue to cheer me on every step of the way.
I am still on a high from last night. To have my business recognised and celebrated amongst so many fantastic local businesses was an honour. It was a reminder of how far Iβve come and has given me even more motivation for the future.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a fantastic evening at the Ards Business Awards. We had a wonderful night celebrating local businesses and the people behind them.
And finally, thank you to every client, friend, family member and supporter who has been part of this journey. This recognition belongs to all of you as much as it does to me. π«Άπ»π©·
Several people have asked to read my Ards Business Awards finalist 1000 word entry , so Iβve attached it in the comments below for anyone who is interested or doesnβt know what I actually do lol .
Much love

Huge congratulations to my client Chris Regan on completing the IRONMAN Hamburg!
For those who donβt know, an Ironman is one of the toughest one-day endurance events in the world, consisting of:
π 3.8 km (2.4 mile) open-water swim
π΄ 180 km (112 mile) bike ride
π 42.2 km (26.2 mile) marathon run
All completed consecutively in a single day.
This incredible achievement is the result of months of disciplined training, sacrifice, determination, and mental resilience. To cover a total distance of 226 km (140.6 miles) under your own power is something very few people will ever accomplish.
Iβm everyone is super proud of your commitment, work ethic, and the dedication youβve shown throughout your journey. Enjoy every moment of this achievement, youβve earned the title of IRONMAN! πͺπ₯π
βYes went well! Done it in 11hrs 56mins with a sub 4hr marathon so happy enough. Weather conditions wernt great so a tough day out!! Thanks again for fitting me in beforehand!!!β

π©·Client Appreciation Post π©·
A huge congratulations to my client Victoria Tor π«Άπ»on completing the Quadruple Challenge on Saturday in support of the fantastic charity Jengana, founded by her friend Fransuer.
Jengana does incredible work in Kenya, supporting vulnerable children through housing, education, and feeding programmes, making a real difference to young lives every day.
The challenge was no small feat:
ποΈ Hike up Slieve Loughshannagh
π΄ Cycle from OTT Car Park to Killyleagh
πΆ Kayak across Strangford Lough to Portaferry
π Finish with a 5K
Completing four disciplines in one day takes determination, resilience, and a lot of grit , qualities that Victoria demonstrates every single time π«Άπ». Her commitment, consistency, and willingness to challenge herself are exactly why she continues to achieve such incredible things.
Itβs always inspiring to see clients use their fitness for something bigger than themselves and raise awareness for such an important cause.
Well done on an amazing achievement and for supporting such a worthwhile charity. ππͺπ©·
