Yesterday I got a positive aspiration during a lip augmentation. Aspirating is vital as it helps ensure the needle is not in a blood vessel. If I did not aspirate and injected into a blood vessel, it could have lead to complications like vascular occlusion, which may result in tissue damage, necrosis, or other serious issues.
