Not all fillers are created equal.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that the most expensive filler must be the best. The truth is, price doesn’t tell you how safe a filler is, how long it will last, or how well it will integrate with your tissues.

Every dermal filler has different properties.

Some attract more water than others, making them unsuitable for delicate areas like the tear troughs. Some are designed to provide structure and lift, while others are made to move naturally with your facial expressions. A filler that works beautifully in the cheeks may be completely wrong for the lips or under the eyes.

This is why choosing the right product is just as important as choosing the right technique.

You’ll never see me stocking a filler simply because it’s trending on social media or endorsed by a celebrity. Great marketing doesn’t always mean it’s the best choice for my clients.

I carefully select the products I use based on clinical evidence, safety, performance, and where they are designed to be used. Every treatment is tailored to the individual because there is no such thing as one filler that suits everyone.

Your face deserves a treatment plan, not a trend.

Brow ptosis after Botox, why it can happen and how we reduce the risk 💉

Brow ptosis is when the brow can feel or look heavier after anti-wrinkle treatment. It does not happen often, but some people are more likely to be prone to it than others.

You may be more susceptible if you naturally have:
• A low-set brow
• Heavier upper eyelids
• Loose skin around the eyes
• Strong forehead movement that helps lift the brows
• Previous brow heaviness after treatment

This is why your consultation matters so much.

It is not just about placing Botox where the lines are. It is about looking at your facial movement, brow position, eye shape and how your muscles work together.

The aim is always to soften lines while keeping the face lifted, fresh and natural.

Botox should never be one-size-fits-all.

If you are worried about feeling heavy after treatment, tell your practitioner. A careful assessment, correct placement and the right dose can make a big difference.

Save this if you are considering anti-wrinkle treatment 🤍

Some people love their wrinkles.

Some people do not.

Both are allowed.

But judging women for choosing anti-wrinkle treatment is not empowerment.

It is just another way of telling women what they should do with their own face.

NHS appointment vs coming to me 😂

Obviously this is just a joke, but I know how nerve-racking appointments can feel when you are scared of needles, worried it might hurt, or convinced I am about to say, “No numbing cream today” 😭

That is not how I work.

I always make sure you are properly numb, comfortable and happy before we start. I will talk you through everything, listen to your worries and give you plenty of time.

I book enough time for every client, so you are never rushed and I am nearly always on time 🤣
I will also always follow up with you after your appointment to check how you are getting on.

I genuinely care about every client who comes to see me. You are trusting me with your face, your skin and your confidence, and I never take that lightly.

Nervous clients are always welcome 🤍

Regenerate your skin. Strengthen it. Slow the visible signs of ageing. ✨

This treatment combines under-eye polynucleotides with full-face microneedling to support skin regeneration from within.

Polynucleotides help repair and revitalise the delicate under-eye area by improving hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality. They are ideal for targeting:

✨ Fine lines and crepey skin
✨ Dark circles and tired-looking eyes
✨ Loss of firmness
✨ Thinning, ageing skin

Full-face microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin, stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin to improve:

✨ Fine lines and early signs of ageing
✨ Skin texture and tone
✨ Enlarged pores
✨ Acne scarring
✨ Dullness and loss of firmness

This combination is not about changing your face. It is about helping your skin behave like younger, healthier skin by supporting repair, renewal and regeneration.

The earlier you begin investing in your skin quality, the more you can help slow the visible signs of ageing and maintain stronger, healthier-looking skin for longer.

Book your skin regeneration session through the link in my bio or message me directly. 🤍

Martha’s Rule was introduced following the death of 13-year-old Martha Mills, after her family’s concerns about her worsening condition were not acted upon.

It gives patients, families and carers a clear way to request an urgent review from a different clinical team when they believe someone is deteriorating and their concerns are not being heard.

Martha’s Rule is not about being difficult or criticising staff. It is about patient safety, listening to families and making sure concerns are taken seriously.

If you are worried:

Speak to the ward team first.
Explain what has changed.
Ask how to access Martha’s Rule at that hospital.
Request an urgent review if you still feel your concerns are not being addressed.

Each hospital has its own Martha’s Rule process and contact number, so ask staff or check the hospital trust’s website.

You are not a bother.
You know yourself and your loved ones best.
Always speak up.

Please share this post. It could help someone feel confident enough to raise a concern when it matters most.

One of the most common things I hear in clinic is:

“I don’t know when they appeared, but I hate them !”

The good news is that jowling isn’t just about loose skin. It’s often caused by changes in facial support, volume loss, ligament laxity and the natural ageing process. That means there are often treatment options that can make a real difference, without surgery.

In this video, I explain:
• Why jowls happen.
• Why treating the jowls alone isn’t always the answer.
• How restoring support higher in the face can naturally improve the lower face.
• Which treatments I recommend, depending on your individual concerns.

Every face is different, so treatment should always be tailored to you. My aim is to achieve a refreshed, natural result, never an overfilled look.

If you’ve started to notice your jawline changing, this video is definitely worth a watch.

Send me a message if you’d like to book a consultation. I’d be happy to talk through the options with you.

✨ Lip Dissolving & Redo Package, £250 ✨

Recently, I have had more and more clients coming to me for help with lip filler that was done elsewhere, whether it was done recently or many years ago.

This may be because the filler has migrated, the shape has become uneven, the lips feel overfilled, or the result simply no longer feels right.

Because of this, I have created a dedicated Lip Dissolving & Redo Package for £250, designed to give your lips a fresh start and rebuild them with a softer, more balanced result.

Your treatment will begin with a full consultation and assessment. We will then create a safe treatment plan, including dissolving where needed and allowing the lips time to settle before carefully refilling.

Every client is different, so treatment will always be based on what is safest and most suitable for your lips.

Message me for more information or to book your consultation. 💌
