Why has this technique only just blown up?
it didn’t appear overnight, it built slowly, but a mix of pandemic habits, changing beauty ideals and better colouring techniques.
Beauty trends have moved toward:

• Age positivity (especially 35–60 demographic)
• Influencers proudly showing grey hair
not many stylists cover this as these appointments can sometimes take longer then your average balayage session and some just don’t have the capacity for it.
