To support better Mental Health Campaign 💚💚💚

As part of my persuit in supporting better Mental health I thought I'd tell the story behind posting my make up looks from the weekend...

It would be SO easy to post the pics on social media and assume praise then revel in it to mask the true feelings hidden within the shots, which is what thousands if not millions of women do each day. HOWEVER, here's the truth.

Some of you may know that I have huge health anxiety, especially when it comes to being sick- that's me, or anyone around me. Even if we're watching something on TV and someone is about to be sick, Chris knows to grab the remote and mute it whilst I screw my eyes shut and stick my fingers in my ears until Chris nudges me to tell me it's over!

Since last night Chris has not felt well and again this morning (although luckily not been sick - sorry for too much info!) and my anxiety has been through the roof. I've started to feel sick myself and even had to cancel seeing a wonderful friend today (sorry Kate) but I'm not even sure I have anything wrong with me, it's more likely to just be anxiety worrying that Chris isnt well and I might catch it!

Why am I telling you this?? Because my campaign is about making yourself feel better by creating a make up look that you wear with confidence. I haven't had a scrap of makeup on today and I can't tell you how many times I've caught myself in the mirror and felt grim, knowing I would feel so much better if I put my makeup on. Anyway, tomorrow WILL be a better day, my face will be on, my anxiety will be lower after a good night's sleep and I'll feel back to my confident self 💖💖💖

Today my day mostly consisted of gel manicures, but this was by far my favourite! My first time doing freehand leopard print 🐆 Thank you to my lovely client for letting me 'play'! What do you think?! Thank you also to for creating such incredible gel colours to work with 💅💖
