THIS ☝🏽 is and always will be one of the most important parts of my business; support, learning, collaboration and motion.

Maisie came to work with me summer last year, she runs her own aesthetics business alongside working as a nurse. Whilst she’s worked at Derma Clinic we’ve recapped and refreshed some of her training, looked at advanced aesthetics treatments and enhanced her skill set with new techniques. We’ve collaborated, shared ideas and worked professionally alongside each other, benefiting both of us.

Two months ago Francesca who is also a nurse, (and Maisie’s best friend), decided to enrol on her foundation aesthetics training. She very successfully completed four days in clinic training,covering all theoretical and practical skill components. Alongside this I offer support and guidance to enable her to start her own journey into aesthetics as well as many tips about starting a business I can to help her succeed.

When I started DCAATS training school, it was off the back of a need for quality training within the very ‘wild west’ unregulated aesthetic industry. I had seen/been told multiple stories, had my own negative experiences and decided to use my PGCE teaching degree combined with my aesthetics experience and my BSc to provide quality teaching, learning and mentorship.

There’s no ego, theres no jealousy and there’s no competition. This is what women supporting women, friends supporting friends and small businesses supporting small businesses looks like.

If you’re in this industry (or any other) and find yourself constantly looking to compare to others or finding yourself thinking ‘how has she done that?’ The truth is the problem is probably you.
