After 17 wonderful years, it’s with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of Pebbles at the end of this month. Since 2008, it has been our privilege to serve this community, and we are deeply grateful for the trust, loyalty, and friendships we’ve built along the way.

The past few years have brought unexpected challenges, including personal losses and health concerns, which have led us to this difficult decision. While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories and connections we’ve made will stay with us forever.

Our last day of operation will be 26th April. Thank you for being part of our journey—it has meant the world to us. Here’s to new beginnings and the cherished memories we’ll carry forward.

Nelson's Journey Abseil Help Louisa Saunders raise money to support Nelson's Journey

As many of you know, our salon is a family-run business. While my mum, Sarah, and I are the faces you see day-to-day, my dad was always working quietly behind the scenes. He took care of everything from the website to the accounts, making sure the business ran smoothly so we could focus on what we love—taking care of all of you.

In 2023, we sadly lost him to a short, unexpected, and rare illness. Losing him was not only a deeply personal loss but also a professional one. He was the backbone of so much of what we do here, and his absence is felt in every corner of the business.

In his memory, I’m taking on a challenge next month: I’ll be abseiling down The Forum to raise funds for Nelson’s Journey, a charity that has been a lifeline for my family as we’ve navigated this loss. They support bereaved children, like my own, helping them process their grief and find hope again.
