A reminder that makeup comes together in stages ✨
The base can look unfinished until the final balancing steps like powder, lashes and lipstick are applied. Trust the process, the finishing touches make all the difference 🤍
1. Prep your skin properly!! This is absolutely key to achieve a long lasting fresh makeup look, Using hydrating skin care products and primers that suit your skin type for a smooth base ✨
2. Apply thin layers of foundation instead of one heavy layer for a skin-like finish, apply more in certain areas if you feel like it’s needed.
3. Apply all cream based products before applying your powder products, switching between the two can cause the makeup to peel and separate on the skin causing the ‘cakey’ look.
4. Back again with the skincare, being consistent with your skin care on a daily basis even if you aren’t wearing makeup all the time will soften skin texture and create the best canvas for flawless makeup.
5. Lock everything in with setting spray to keep your makeup fresh all day 🤍
