šŸ‹Lemon and Tea tree soap cutting

šŸ‹There is something so soothing about cutting the soap. Getting it out of the mould and seeing the finished product.

šŸ‹My soap cutter was a great investment and it obviously had to be green!

šŸ‹These will be ready in about 6 weeks, they need time to fully harden. I store them in my airing cupboard which is the ideal space!

On Saturday I was at west Bridgford with

I was having a great day and certain items sold out. Which is a first for me at a market!

When asked, I said it was probably down to the weather, it was sunny, it felt spring like and everyone was enjoying the day.

What I didn’t say was that actually my products are good!
The proof was that I had repeat customers come and see me as well as new customers who loved how they looked and bought them.

One lady bought nearly all my shampoo bars in one particular scent, she’s been before and did the same, she also orders from me.

Another lady came and bought soaps that she’d bought previously, she loves them and came back for more.

Another customer overheard a lady say how lovely my hand lotion was and promptly picked one up to buy before even trying it first.

So why do we not blow our own trumpet? As small businesses it’s hard, most of us have imposter syndrome and we are so critical of our own products.

Well this should stop! The fact that we have repeat customers should tell us that we’re doing something right.

I know we all have up and down markets but we should also celebrate ourselves and what we are capable of!

This market on Saturday was one of my best at West Bridgford and I am eternally grateful to everyone who trusts me and my products. I love what I do!

šŸ’Workshops šŸ’

šŸ’I have done a few workshops recently and I absolute love sharing my making process with you all.

šŸ’I thought I’d offer more workshops and try and get out more. I can accommodate up to three people in my home but I’m happy to travel and come to you if a bigger group.

šŸ’If you have a special occasion coming up or would just love to make your own products then get in touch. As a special offer I can also offer 10% off any products bought on the day so I can come prepared! The host will also get 10% off their experience.

šŸ’If this sounds like something you’d be interested in then please get in touch and we can organise dates.
