The longer I work with the body, the more I understand that massage is never just about muscles ✨
Every person carries tension differently.
Some people hold stress in the shoulders.
Some in the jaw.
Some stop breathing deeply without even noticing it.
And very often, the body adapts to overload for so long that tension starts to feel “normal”.
This is why my work is never based on one technique alone 🌿
Sometimes the body needs slow, calming movements and nervous system regulation.
Sometimes it needs deeper tissue work, trigger point release, percussion therapy, cupping, or focused recovery treatment.
Different tissues respond differently.
Different nervous systems respond differently.
And every body tells its own story through movement, posture, breathing patterns, muscle guarding, and tension.
The more experience I gain, the more I understand that real bodywork is not about “following a routine”.
It is about observation, adaptation, and understanding what the body actually needs in that moment.
Whether it is relaxation massage, sports recovery, post-surgery rehabilitation, or facial massage — the goal always remains the same:
to help the body move better, feel safer, and finally let go of chronic tension 💆♀️✨

Recovery after surgery is never just one technique.
It is a process of constantly adapting to what the body needs at each stage ✨
I’m very grateful to Yancy for trusting me to be part of her recovery journey 🌿
At the beginning, our sessions were focused mainly on gentle lymphatic drainage work to help reduce swelling, support circulation, and assist the body during the earliest healing stages.
Now, as recovery progresses, the treatment is becoming much more individual and multidimensional.
Because Yancy still cannot comfortably sleep or lie in a fully natural position, her body compensates in different ways. This creates additional tension patterns, especially through the back, glutes, shoulders, and surrounding fascial structures.
This is why I now combine different techniques across different areas of the body depending on how the tissues respond during the session.
Some areas require very gentle work and careful tissue support.
Other areas — such as the back and glutes — already benefit from deeper tissue techniques to help reduce protective muscle tension, stiffness, and discomfort caused by prolonged positioning.
Recovery treatment is never simply “a massage”.
It is continuous clinical observation, adaptation, and understanding how muscles, fascia, circulation, posture, and the nervous system all interact together.
Every movement, pressure, and body position matters during this stage of healing 💆♀️✨
Being part of the TYROX event as a massage therapist was such a valuable experience ✨💆♀️
Working with people in this kind of environment reminds you how much the body goes through during intense physical effort.
Every athlete is different.
Different tension patterns.
Different recovery needs.
Different limits.
Sometimes even a short treatment can help the body feel lighter, reduce muscle tightness, improve mobility, and support recovery after performance 🌿
Sports massage is not only about muscles.
It is also about understanding how the body responds to overload, fatigue, stress, and movement.
Very grateful to the organisers for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing TYROX event and help support people through recovery and body care 🔥
Experiences like this always remind me how important recovery really is.

Relaxation massage is not only about feeling good.
It directly affects the nervous system and the physiological stress response ✨
When the body stays in chronic tension for too long, stress hormones such as cortisol remain elevated, muscles become hypertonic, breathing becomes more shallow, and recovery processes slow down.
Slow, continuous massage movements help activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the state responsible for recovery, relaxation, digestion, and tissue restoration 🌿
As muscle tension decreases, circulation and lymphatic flow improve, tissues receive better oxygen supply, and the body gradually shifts out of “survival mode”.
This is why after massage many people notice:
• deeper sleep
• calmer thoughts
• easier breathing
• reduced muscle tightness
• a feeling of physical and emotional release
Sometimes the body does not need more stimulation.
Sometimes it needs safety, calmness, and the opportunity to finally let go 💆♀️✨

Recovery after surgery is a very delicate and individual process ✨
I’m truly grateful to be part of Yancy’s recovery journey and very thankful for the trust she has placed in me throughout this process 🌿
At the beginning, our sessions focused mainly on gentle lymphatic drainage techniques to help reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support the body during the early healing stages.
At that point, lying face down was still not possible, so every session required careful positioning and constant adaptation to what the body could tolerate comfortably.
Now, as the tissues continue healing, the muscles are beginning to respond differently and hold more protective tension and spasms. To help avoid fibrosis and excessive tissue tightness, we can gradually begin to work slightly deeper — but always very gently and carefully.
Post-surgery recovery massage is not simply about technique.
It is about understanding how the body responds to every movement, every position, and every stage of healing.
Sometimes even the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference 💆♀️✨

Your body carries more tension than you realise. ✨
Long work days.
Stress.
Constant movement.
Lack of proper rest.
Over time, the nervous system stays overloaded and muscles stop fully relaxing — even during sleep.
Relaxation Massage is designed to help the body slow down again 🌿
Through slow, controlled movements and continuous flow, the body gradually shifts from tension into recovery mode.
This type of massage is not focused on intense pressure.
It focuses on calming the nervous system, improving circulation, and creating a deep feeling of physical and mental release.
Clients often notice:
• lighter movement
• calmer thoughts
• deeper sleep
• reduced muscle tension
• a feeling of complete reset ✨
Sometimes your body does not need more stimulation.
Sometimes it simply needs rest.

Your face holds more tension than you think. ✨
Stress often appears on the face long before we fully notice it ourselves.
Tension in the jaw.
Tight forehead muscles.
Heavy eyes.
Shallow breathing.
Over time, facial muscles remain in constant low-level tension, circulation slows down, and the face can begin to look more tired and less refreshed.
Facial massage works not only with the skin, but also with the muscles, fascia, circulation, and nervous system 🌿
Slow, precise movements help release tension, improve blood flow, and bring softness back into the tissues.
Clients often notice:
• a fresher appearance
• softer facial features
• reduced jaw tension
• deeper relaxation
• a calmer state of mind
Natural beauty begins with healthy tissues and a relaxed nervous system.
Sometimes the face does not need more products.
Sometimes it simply needs release 💆♀️✨

Which type of massage should you choose? 💆♀️
Choosing the right massage isn’t just a luxury — it’s about giving your body exactly what it needs.
Whether you’re feeling run down, dealing with muscle tension, or simply craving a moment to switch off, the right treatment can make all the difference.
From deeply relaxing sessions to more targeted, therapeutic techniques, each type of massage is designed with a specific purpose in mind. The key is understanding what you need right now — recovery, relaxation, or relief.
Take a moment to listen to your body… it usually knows the answer.
