Myth or Reality?

A PMU pigment implanted too deeply using an incorrect technique can damage the skin and may contribute to injury of the hair follicles. In some cases, this can lead to thinning or even loss of eyebrow hairs in the treated area.

Beautiful, long-lasting results start with proper technique: selecting the right pigment, implanting it at the correct depth, and respecting the skin’s anatomy. Permanent makeup should enhance your natural beauty—not compromise the health of your eyebrows.

Choose a well-trained PMU artist, because the right technique makes all the difference.

The good news is that if the follicles are still alive and the damage is not permanent, removing the pigment and allowing the skin to heal may give the hairs a chance to grow back. However, if the follicles have been permanently damaged by deep trauma or scarring, pigment removal alone cannot restore hair growth.

The pigment itself is not usually the problem—the depth, technique, and experience of the artist make all the difference.

Healthy skin = healthy eyebrows. Always choose quality over shortcuts when it comes to permanent makeup.
