Interestingly it was the same number

Adorn and give offerings

Keep that inner creative fire aflame

🌞🗝🕯 Winter Solstice

Blessings for our shortest day in the Northern reaches…we have been gradually turning to this point, bent on the burying of old ideas and composting what we do not burn in the sacred fires. Today marks a mid way point, a still point, a lovely pause before the great wheel ( Yule means wheel in Norwegian) turns once more. We honour what we wish to let go of and take the Virgin Goddess’ hand, our midwife to birth our new direction or process.
It is absolutely ok to stand still, to have our own solstice within, to get to the shortest, darkest time, it is necessary and nurturing. Rest, be still. The sun will shine again but there is beauty in the being here with the dark, Now x x it will only make the return sweeter 🌞
And think of all that lovely compost 🥀

My recipe for now was made last year as an inspiration/ intuition from the Cold Moon ~ peppermint, basil, palo Santo and a drop of clary sage x

My lovely elderly neighbour left this bunch of roses on my door step yesterday, the most touching thing of all was they are surely some of her first blooms and it gave me this overwhelming sense of generosity, plus for her to walk over would have been a mission in itself so, here’s to those moments that light us up and there’s so much of it going around...roses - tell so many stories 🌹🌸 do you have any rosy stories for me? X

A rose for you...rose essence is keeping me going, heaven sent...🌹 I’m not taking orders, it’s too complicated going to the workshop and post office etc but we are keeping the balminess and rosiness going here at home and I hope you are too....rose petal tea is highly recommended 💗 not easy being a small biz owner at the moment but I was finding the juggle of being full time mum and balm maker very challenging so here’s to taking the pressure off, having less in the account 🤦🏽‍♀️ and being present 🌹
