SECOND TIME ROUND ⚡️

It doesn’t always happen first time round... why?
This can be down to a number of reasons ..
⌚️ hair history
- is it virgin hair / coloured hair? Virgin hair lifts like a dreammm, so the likelihood is, if it’s virgin your gonna be a BLONDE first time round! (Depending on condition)
- salon coloured hair / box dye - home dye? A BIG difference. I’ve seen it with my own eyes many times, if it’s salon dyed it lifts a lot better than home dye.   always seems to lift super warm and slowly 🥺 which makes being blonde a slow process.   dye does lift a lot slower than virgin hair so may take a few times to get you to the lightness you want to be - but you’ll get there if you look after the condition.

• condition of hair - if it’s sensitive it can not be lifted too much in one sitting.
It is so important to look after your hair before during and after an appointment.
I think it goes hand in hand with going blonde.
⚡️PREPARE your hair for it’s session in the salon, we use everything we can in the salon to protect it, but if you come in with hair that’s already dry due to heat damage / colour damage - more colour will only make it worse. Start your “aftercare” advice BEFORE your appointment and give it a complete heat detox ready for the day you want to go lighter.
⚡️DURING - I take care of that, I have bonding treatments that are added to your colour to protect it as much as possible while we lift it. Then we use a second stage at the backwash to lock and seal the treatment in.
⚡️AFTER - it’s all down to you again, you have an average of 6-12 weeks before you see me again. So work work work work work on that condition so that next time if you want to be blonder I’ll say yes 😉

Check out my highlight “AFTERCARE“ and “post lockdown appointments” for all the home care I recommend.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading my short novel!
Lots of love ❤️
