✨ Funky Refresh + Root Bleach ✨
When your client wants to level up their colour AND ditch the blue… this is what we do 🙌💜🩷
Starting with Effasor on the mids and ends to draw out those blue tones, then bleaching up the roots to create that warm purple base she was after 🔥
Once everything was processed, I painted in a custom hot pink through the Effasored sections for that gorgeous highlighted effect, then swept a custom warm purple through the rest of the hair 💜🩷 Left to process for 35 mins, then finished with a trim and a sleek blowdry for that glossy, polished finish ✂️

🔥 This is Erin. Visit two of her box dye removal plan. Let me explain exactly what that means.
Because "box dye removal" isn't a treatment. It's a programme. And if anyone tells you it can be done in one appointment they're either lying or about to destroy your hair.
Here's what we're actually doing and why.
In the chair — K-PAK Reconstructor
Box dye builds up on the hair shaft over time and breaks down the protein structure underneath. The hair looks okay from a distance but it has no elasticity, no resilience. It'll snap under pressure and it won't hold colour properly.
K-PAK Reconstructor goes into the cortex and rebuilds those broken protein bonds. Not a mask. Not a conditioning treatment. Actual reconstruction. This is what makes everything else possible — you can't put good colour on structurally compromised hair and expect it to last.
In the chair — K-PAK Hydrating Masque
Once we've rebuilt the structure we need to restore the moisture balance. The Hydrating Masque works on the outside of the hair shaft, sealing and softening. This is where the shine and the movement comes from. Look at Erin's hair in these photos. That's not styling product. That's condition.
Going home — Defy Damage Shampoo and Conditioner
This is where most salons drop the ball. They do the work in the chair and send you home with whatever. The Defy Damage shampoo and conditioner are bond-protecting. Every wash Erin does at home is actively maintaining the work we've done in the chair rather than undoing it. Between visits matters as much as the visits themselves.
Going home — K-PAK Hydrator
A leave-in treatment that keeps the moisture levels stable day to day. Box dye damaged hair drinks moisture and loses it fast. The Hydrator keeps the cortex topped up between washes so she's not coming back in worse condition than when she left.
This is Erin's plan. Every product has a job. Nothing is in there because it's a nice add-on.

This girl came in for a colour refresh and LEFT like this 🤩🌸💜
Starting from that gorgeous grown-out base (she keeps her roots natural for low-maintenance magic — smart girl 🙌), I worked a custom hot pink through the mids, then melted into a deep custom berry pink through the ends for that juicy ombré effect 💖➡️💜
Finished off by refreshing her little pops of blue peeking through the underneath 💙 Left to process for 35 mins then finished with a volumised blowdry and a soft wave for that bouncy, glossy finish 🌊

🖤🩷 JENNY WANTED TO GO FUNKY. JENNY GOT FUNKY. 🩷🖤
This one was a full creative build from scratch and Katy absolutely delivered.
Jenny came in wanting something different — a double raccoon tail, one on each side, with real impact. Here's exactly what went into making this happen:
First, Katy used Efasör on the mids and ends to lift out the old colour and create a clean base to work on. While that was processing she bleached the two panels for the raccoon tails and left everything to develop for 35 minutes. After rinsing she applied a custom hot pink mix to the vivid sections, toned the bleached panels with 9.12 and 9VG for that perfect soft blonde, then painted in the black stripes using 1N and left the whole lot to process for another 30 minutes. Finished with a trim and a soft wave. 🌊
That is PRECISION. That is planning. That is Funky-Doos. 💅

Yesterday Katy sat down three clients, all with different hair disasters left behind by other salons, and turned every single one of them into a pink dream. 🔥
Hazel — old permanent colour causing chaos underneath. Full ozone bleach lift to an even canvas, finished with a custom red-pink vivid. First visit with Katy. Won't be her last. ❤️🩷
Cerys — drove all the way from Motherwell. Dark roots, brassy orange chunks, faded pink ends, highlights going in three different directions. Absolute carnage. Left looking unreal. 🩷
Melissa — wasn't even in the appointment book. Turned up, we made an emergency run to the suppliers, came back and delivered a full hot pink vivid transformation anyway. 🩷🔥
Three different starting points. Three different hair histories. Three completely different results. All pink. All perfect.
