We are looking for a part- time salon junior to join our busy salon in Paisley. We are looking for someone with a mature and reliable work ethic who wants to grow their customer service or salon experience alongside our lovely clientele. Please find details below:

Part time (15 - 20 hours per week)
Salary: competitive (plus tips)
Role and responsibilities:
- prepare for the day ahead
- meet and greet clients
- offer refreshments
- maintain salon cleanliness
- shampoo and massage
- manage client appointments (on the phone and in person)
- general assistance with day-to-day running on the salon.

Hello everyone we are delighted to be opening on the 15th of July for business! To make an appointment, please give us a call on 07552018256 (or click “call now”) on this page. We are very excited to see you. We have been working hard with the Council and business organisations and as a result are fully aware of and prepared to meet government measures on virus reduction. As such, you can be assured that:

- all our stylists have certified training in anti-Covid barbicide cleanliness
- perspex glass now exists between work stations separating each customer
- social distancing between customers will be maintained
- gloves, masks, and other coverings will be available and regularly used by staff and clients
- the salon will be subject to constant and thorough cleaning
- there will be ample and regular hand sanitisation for all
- there is ample markings and information for clients.

There may be queues, as sadly is the new fact of life, we aim to keep these to a minimum with our timetabling and would be very grateful for your patience. Luckily the Paisley Centre is a very friendly and covered area outside the shop!

Hi everyone - just a quick update. We hope everyone is managing! 💕We will be open in either phase 2 or phase 3 of the Scottish Government’s roadmap out of Covid. We are not yet sure when that will be, phase 1 should begin on the 28th May so we still have to wait 😞 We have started to stock up on lots of protective equipment and hand sanitizer and we are awaiting further instructions from Government about what we have to do when we open. All stylists will be returning and when we get an idea about the date we can open we we will start taking bookings ASAP. We are as excited to start back as you are to have a haircut! The Fringe Salon as a small business remains open and would encourage those who need to have their hair done and otherwise feel well to visit us. We understand that people, particularly those over 50 regularly need their hair done and we are taking the virus very seriously so that can happen in our shop as normal. We have limited the amount of contact to a minimum between customers as well as customers and staff, we have hand sanitisers in the shop, strict hand washing policies and regularly sanitise the handles and surfaces throughout the day.
