✨ What’s the difference between traditional lash lifts and Korean lash lifts?

The main difference is the technique and the product ingredients. Traditional lash lifts involve securing the lashes onto a shield with an adhesive, then applying the lifting agent onto the bottom third of the lashes. While this works well on flexible lashes, it can sometimes be less effective on stubborn downward facing lashes.

A Korean lash lift does not need adhesive, using a cysteamine based solution means we can apply it directly to the lashes with no need for the shield until the lashes are softened. They can then be placed onto the shield ready to be set with the second solution.

✨ Why choose a Korean lash lift?

Cysteamine based solutions are a gentler alternative to traditional TGA-based formulas, meaning they are ideal for treating almost the entire length of the lashes, achieving a thorough, uniform lift.

The technique is versatile and inclusive, ideal for both fine lashes and stubborn downward pointing lashes.

✨ What’s the aftercare?

Aftercare is SO important when it comes to lash lifts. Avoiding hot water, steam and heat for the first 48 hours is essential. Although cold water will not affect the curl of the lashes, steam and hot water can make the lashes more susceptible to a PH change which could cause the lashes to slightly change shape.

After the initial 48 hours, a hydrating oil (such as vitamin E, argon oil, castor oil) must be applied at least once a day to maintain the condition of the lashes. Lash serums are also beneficial but must be used as well as an oil.
