I’m Carol, also know as Iris & Ink Beauty & SPMU.

After running my beauty business in the Midlands for over 9 years, I’m excited to be relocating to Perth and joining the lovely team at Noble Nails.

I specialise in luxury brow and lash treatments, as well as Semi-Permanent Makeup, offering natural, bespoke results tailored to every client.

My diary will be opening this weekend for appointments from August.

I’m currently looking for Lip Blush and Powder Brows models at my new location.

Let's talk stained nails... because apparently I can't be trusted around turmeric. 🤦‍♀️

I was feeling all organised, filling up my pill organiser like the responsible adult I pretend to be... and then I looked at my nails. Bright yellow.

Turns out my turmeric supplements had completely stained them. So if you've spotted my lovely "sunshine" manicure, don't panic. It definitely wasn't intentional!

The funny thing is, turmeric is far from the only culprit. Your nails can be stained by all sorts of everyday things, including:

• Turmeric and other herbs and spices
• Creams and lotions
• Makeup
• Self tanning products
• Hair dye
• Cleaning products
• Some foods and drinks
The list is surprisingly long!

So if you're handling anything colourful, save yourself from my mistake and pop on a pair of gloves. Your manicure will thank you.

And if your nails do end up stained, don't worry. It happens to the best of us... and apparently to nail technicians too! 😂
