We’re on the look out for the right person to join the Luxe Beauty team.
I’ve had so many messages from people tagging friends, which has been lovely, so I wanted to pop this on here in case the right person hasn’t seen it yet.
This role would suit someone who’s organised, takes pride in the little details, genuinely enjoys looking after people and wants to be part of some really special wedding mornings.
It’s mainly Saturdays to begin with, with opportunities for weekday work too.

Teigan’s wedding was the perfect day to put this brand new formula to the test… and if it can handle a UK heatwave, wedding day nerves, happy tears, hours of hugs and a full day of celebrating, I’d say that’s a pretty good test. ☀️🤍
I was so grateful to receive some of the brand new finishing spray launches from , and I couldn’t wait to use them on one of my brides.
Those of you who have followed me for a while will know that Skindinavia has been one of my go to setting sprays for years. It’s earned its place in my kit through real weddings, long days and every challenge a bridal makeup look can be put through.
As makeup artists, we don’t get to test products in perfect conditions. We test them in heat, through tears, hugs, dancing and everything else that comes with a wedding day. If a product performs there, that’s what really matters.
I’ve always tried to stand by what I feel is morally right. After following everything that happened between Skindinavia and Urban Decay over the formulation they originally developed together, I’ve continued to support Skindinavia because firstly of what I feel is morally right but also they just have a great product and formula that I really believe in.
It means a lot that they’ve recognised that support and continue to look after the artists who use and recommend their products every single day. Brands that value both their customers and the professionals who trust their products deserve to be recognised.

I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside Charlotte so many times this year, with lots more weddings still to come, and it’s always such a pleasure. When you work with somebody regularly, you get to know each other’s timings, how each other work and how to keep the morning flowing smoothly.
Most importantly, we both want the exact same thing. A calm, relaxed and enjoyable morning where our brides feel looked after from start to finish.
The wedding morning sets the tone for the whole day and there is something so special about working alongside suppliers just align.

I had the pleasure of creating Amelia’s bridal makeup while working alongside the incredibly talented Charlotte Heather Bridal Hair who absolutely nailed the hair as always ✨
The whole morning was so calm, relaxed and full of lovely energy. Amelia was the sweetest little angel and looked so unbelievably beautiful. It was such a joy to be part of her special day alongside such an amazing group of people.

One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that bridesmaids often find the makeup brief harder than the bride.
Brides have usually spent months saving inspiration photos and thinking about how they want to look.
Bridesmaids? Not always so much.
A lot of the time they sit in my chair and tell me:
“I don’t really know what I want.”
“Nothing too much.”
“I just want to look nice.”
And honestly, that’s completely fine.
You don’t need to know makeup terminology, explain exactly what eyeshadow shape you want or arrive with a folder full of inspiration.
My job is to look at your features, listen to what you’re comfortable with and create something that feels like you.
Sometimes the best brief is simply:
“Just make me look pretty.”
And these three are proof of that 🤍
Something worth noting is that letting me know your dislikes is sometimes even more helpful than letting me know your likes.

Some clients are physically incapable of taking a bad photo.

One of the best parts of this job is the people we get to meet along the way. I know people are always shocked when we remember past brides and bridal parties from years ago, but trust me we really do 😂
When somebody sits in our chair and says “I booked you because you did my friend’s makeup 8 years ago” there’s a very high chance we still remember the wedding, the venue, the makeup look and probably half the bridal party too 🥹
That sort of loyalty and support never gets taken for granted.

Beautiful bridesmaids and mums over at again 🤍
We find ourselves at this venue so regularly now and it’s always such a pleasure. It’s one of those venues that never gets old no matter how many times we’re there.
We’ve got lots more Holmewood Hall weddings still coming up and the 2027 enquiries honestly are not slowing down at all. We’re even seeing more and more 2028 enquiries already too.
If you’re planning a wedding, book your suppliers as early as you can if you’ve got your heart set on certain people. Don’t assume you’re safe just because you’ve chosen a weekday either because honestly any day goes nowadays. Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays are coming through just as heavily as Saturdays now ✨

The plan was to film Charlotte’s full makeup from start to finish like I normally do… but it was that hot that my phone overheated on the tripod in the sun and completely cut out halfway through 🙈
So instead you’re getting the start and the finished result, and just WOW 😍
This is exactly how I approach bridal skin. Coverage without heaviness. Skin still looking like skin. Just thin layers in the right places so everything still looks fresh, glowy and natural up close whilst giving enough coverage for photos too.
I think this is the balance so many brides are actually looking for when they say they want “coverage but still natural” 🥰
