Dear clients

This is a message that’s not easy to write as I know it’s going to inconvenience a few of you..
Due to a few reasons (but mainly a recent set back with health) I have made the difficult decision of cutting back my hours
(I currently work 6 days a week, till gone 8pm most evenings)
I’ve finally succumbed to the fact I’m getting too old for these hours and my health is starting to suffer because of it…
Therefore going forward my last offered hair appointment of the day will now be 5/5.15pm, this is so I can finish around 7pm.

These are still long hours I’m working but will make a big difference to me and my family.

If you already have your next appointment booked for after 5pm then that appointment will be honoured for the time it’s booked, but any further appointments made after that will need to be within my new working hours.

Unfortunately my weekends are already full with my regular weekend clients so therefore I’m unable to offer any weekends as alternatives to evenings.

I’m sorry if this has caused a problem going forward with evening hair appointments it’s just an adjustment that had to be made.

I’ve recently had a lot of new clients enquiring through this page, but my books are currently completely full so therefore I am unable to accommodate new clients at this time.
By taking this page down it cuts out a lot of new client enquiries.

Dear clients,

I know it’s only been a short while since my last price increase and it’s not something I take likely, but unfortunately due to increased living and utility costs I’m having to once again do this. I do really hate it, but to enable me to keep operating its a must.

Since the pandemic hit 2 years ago the industry prices for materials went ridiculously high, at that point I only added on the bare minimum on colours in order to purely cover the cost of the increase (not to make anymore profit), but frustratingly, with more price increases on everything from April, I have no choice but to implement another small charge on my existing prices, therefore I have to add:
£5 on the cost of all colour work £5 on the cost of cuts/cut blowdrys £3 on child and mens cuts

Thank you in advance for your understanding in the impossible situation.

Dear clients,
Just wanted to let you all know that of recent months my requests for appointments after 4pm are of great demand, over 90% of requests are now for late afternoon/evenings.
Although I do my absolute best to accommodate every appointment request there is now an average of 5-7 weeks wait for a unscheduled appointment for this time of day.
This is causing some disappointment from a clients point of view and frustration from mine as not everyone is too thrilled with this wait time, so please may I suggest to avoid being disappointed, if you know you can only attend an appointment at this time of day, can you please re-book your next appointment before you leave.
I’m aware not everyone is able to do this so please be understanding when I can only offer you an appointment 5 weeks ahead.
Alternatively if there is ever any daytime/weekday slots you’re able to attend as an option then I would be so grateful for you to offer to come then instead.
Again thank you all for your continued support and understanding.

Dear clients
Just letting you all know that due to absolutely everything around me going up in price, I’m afraid I have no choice but to follow suit and do the same.

I have absolutely no choice but to do this in order to survive and carry on being able to do what I do.

Due to the extortionate price increase from colour companies it’s my colour clients that will notice the biggest increase, your new cost will vary depending on what you have etc, but on average it’s going to be around a 10% increase on what you are currently paying.

This is not something I enjoy having to do but I’m afraid it’s essential to keep me being able to do what I do!

Just wanted to jump on to say I only have one day left in July with free appointments, the rest of July is now fully booked!
The only day left for appointments is Thursday 29th in the afternoon so get in quick if you would like that day x

August is also filling up fast and I don’t have any free appointments till 18th Aug so again if you would like your hair doing in August I would suggest getting booked in to avoid disappointment 🥰

Good evening everyone hope you are well, I just have a couple of notifications for you lovely people-

1. I would like to make you all aware as of 31/7 I will no longer be taking card payments!
Due to a big increase in interest charges and the extortionate cost of me having to upgrade my machine I had to make the decision to either increase my prices or stop it as a method of payment!
I’m sure you would all rather the latter as opposed to having to endure a price increase. So going forward my methods of payments will now be either bank transfer, PayPal or cash. Hope you all understand my decision in this. 🤍

2. As of 19/7 it’s is no longer a legal requirement for me or you to attend your appointment wearing a face mask.
I understand a lot of people are still a little uncomfortable with this decision… I for one am so excited to ditch the mask! I have had to wear it on average 10 hours a day 6 days a week and I’m desperate to get back to some normality! It is also a massive hindrance for me being unable to see all your gorgeous faces 👸🏼

However I do understand that some may not be quite ready for this next step, if you feel more comfortable attending with a mask then that is no problem whatsoever, and likewise if you’re more comfortable with me wearing a mask throughout your appointment then please just let me know in advance of your appointment!
I’m happy to do that as I would hate the thought of you being worried or uncomfortable whilst seeing me 🤗

I will still be keeping a more thorough cleaning/sterilising routine between each client for our own comfort and safety!

Hi everyone,
I’m unfortunately getting too used to writing posts like this now 😩
Due to the announcement yesterday, as of today (sun 20th Dec) my little business is closed again! 😢
I will be directly in touch with those who have an appointment booked in the next 2 weeks!
I have been given no date to start back again yet, so I will not be taking any further bookings until I have a go ahead date.
I’m so sorry to you all!
All that’s left to say is I can’t thank you enough for all your continued loyalty, support, friendship and understanding throughout a very tough year.
