The Year is 1990…Back where it all began. ⚫️⚪️
My journey into the make up and modelling world began in my bedroom at our family home in Netherton. I would look at the bedroom walls which were adorned with Fashion magazine covers and campaigns and dream of living in that world one day! I would grab my girl gang from school on our lunch breaks or after school and we would head to the 101 Salon for manicures, facials and makeovers!
We had our little price list and treatments ranged from 50p to £2.
The Salon Uniform was Monochrome (a nod to our favourite designer Chanel and we named it 101 after our fave 101 Dalmatian’s Movie) ⚫️⚪️
I loved to pamper the girls and vice versa! We loved to make a little bit of pocket money so that we could treat ourselves at the weekends! Music would be playing and we would have such a giggle catching up! Good old fashioned fun! What a time to be alive!!
I am a firm believer in working hard and dreaming big. Dreams can come true.
I have had such a wonderful career so far in the Make Up & Fashiom Industry and I can’t wait to inspire more people in my years to come. I am so thankful every single day.
